Have used this business for years under previous ownership. New regime is that they open on Sundays only between 3 and 4pm so people can drop off hired items. We hired a plate compactor on the Saturday morning. One day hire is 24 hours but as they aren’t open until Sunday afternoon the business owner uses this as a way of charging for 2 days when we couldn’t drop it off any earlier even if we wanted to. When we queried this the owner would not back down on the 2 day charge, so we won’t be doing business with him again as he is exploiting the situation.

Great service, and good prices. Unfortunately had some issues with the large furniture trailer plug and it not working properly on two different vehicles. They had to get me to jam a stone in the trailer plug to get it to work. Fine when it goes, but a real pain when taking the trailer on and off. A few broken boards inside, and could’ve done a bit of a sweep/hose out, but it did the job in the end! Thanks guys!

Great service with we'll maintained equipment Southbrook Hire is an excellent hire firm with friendly approachable staff. The have an excellent range of hire equipment which is always in demand. It therefore means you may need to book what you want to hire to ensure you don't miss out. This business can also refill LPG gas bottles, which is a real bonus.Worthy of consideration should you need to hire any equipment. The staff will always help to accommodate your requirements.

Absolutely top notch service, being on my own at the time, I did not realise that the car would not tow the tractor I wanted. No problem to these guys, he delivered and pick up the tractor for me, reasonable rates and I totally recommend them
