I have been Retail Sales Manager at The Manuka Honey and Cafe at Punakaiki. For 9 months I have gone out of my way to support this little gem tucked away in Runanga.The owners are awesome and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable.They go the extra mile by wrapping your Ice Cream because they know I have a 15km drive to home.They are faithfully open on Stat Holidays and never put surcharges on.The Manuka Company have decided to move the Punakaiki Operations back to Head Office in Whakatane so I said goodbye and a sincere thanks for their friendly service and help over the last 9 months. Great Little Shop awesome stuff the owners are very friendly helpful people places open on statutory holidays no surcharge is applied very knowledgeable people in regards to the area they live

Off the main road, so obviously survives by it's local patrons, and I can see why. Solid burgers with fresh ingredients. Did us a great deal too. Reasonable store with general groceries.
