My son and I have been training here for four years and have enjoyed every minute. Great instructors, friendly atmosphere amd plain old good fun. Recommend for anyone wanting to learn martial arts, get fit or just staying active.

Started my autistic son there to learn some life skills. They have been patient, taking care to not push too fast and keep training at a pace that works for both father and son.Unlike some martial arts styles Chan's works with your body helping you move more fluidly - rather than stressing through rigid exercises.White belt learning includes practical tips for self protection from day one.Chan's is a family friendly club where family members of different ages can train together. None of the gung-ho macho stuff I've seen else where. Highly recommended.I'd like to add to my review. I've now been going for 3 months and ti just gets better. I walk better, stand better, feel better (although the initial next day stiffness was experienced for the first few weeks - I am over 50 after all). Even more pleased than when I first arrived and my son loves it. Thanks
