Cancer Society's Lions Lodge
Despite some circumstances, the place is peaceful and quite lovely. My poppa stayed here during treatment as he was from out of town. My nan came for a night as she had an early appt and was also from out of town. Lovely staff Nan said.

Cancer Society's Lions Lodge
We were most impressed with the Lodge itself ,proximity to the Hospital and town. The staff especially the volunteers were great ,helpful,welcoming and we felt at home (almost) in a very short time. It is very positive to have people in a similar situation around you ,swapping experiences and discussing life, backgrounds and success stories. The hospital itself co coordinates with the lodge staff and together they gel well and smoothly. We were very grateful to all involved and consider ourselves to be very fortunate to have such a facility largely made possible by the Local Lions team. Thankyou all ,,God Bless, Andrea & John Gisborne .

I'm just going to be short and straight up honest here. The rating stars only go to 5 but to me this place and the workers get a 10 plus that should answer all questions and from the bottom if my heart thankyou

Absolutely wonderful place with awesome facilities and staff. Very friendly and always clean. Food is delicious. Couldn't ask for a better place to go to when having treatment.

The Lions Lodge has the most friendliest staff considering all the sick whanau who roll through here. They have great facilities for short & long stay, it is my 3rd visit here as a support person for whanau needing treatment & it has never disappointed
