I was a inpatient for a month and a half between 2016 and 2017 at He puna waiora I found that doctors and nurses are very rude at times. Your mental health service also set me up with a Occupational Therapist who I had number of problems with i was sexual harassed by him on Several different occasions which was very Emotional distressing, I Found him unprofessional and am thinking of suing him

Nice place with nice people around. Thank you all for taking care of me. I enjoyed the occupational therapy very much. Like a kindergarten for adults. Drawing, painting, play table tennis....

I want to score 5 stars for nurses, but 1 star for psychiatrists. I've been in he puna 3 times. I was just discharged today. Also I had a meeting with a psychiatrist, Dr Kumar, this morning. What I can say is I'm so disappoint about he puna has this kind of psychiatrist. He doesn't know how to respect patients at all. I feel he can't help me but give me more stress.

Had a near death experience from forcefully being injected by a new medication invented in 2021 while NOT under the mental health act. Currently in the process of a formal complaint and possible court case. Met some wonderful patients in there that were unfortunately admitted due to conspiracy theories which have now to this day been proven to be factual. Some staff that I dealt with have resigned 'thankfully' as they were violent and compulsive liers which had an effect on my personal life. The Physiatrist that I took to court well in He Puna Waiora under section 16 didn't go by the judges conditions and released me 3 days later which raised suspicion on her act of wrongfully diagnosing me. The list goes on.All this has affected my life in my community and wellbeing.I highly recommend Julian Hague (free Lawyer) to deal with any similar cases while under He Puna Waiora if your putting forward Section 16.Be safe and know your rights.Ruka
