Locals Cafe
This is definitely the place to be right now. The Locals is lekker. (South African lingo for saying something is great). From the time it opened it has been an extremely popular cafe. It is always busy and bustling with happy customers and friendly staff. The food is delicious and there is a great variety of cabinet food and food from the menu. The deserts and cakes/ muffins/ slices are melt in the mouth. Today I tasted the most delectable berry cheesecake. During the week a friend ordered the mint slice and in her opinion it was the most perfect she had ever tasted. The staff are efficient, friendly and fast. The decor is simple as are the chairs and tables. It feels like being in one's own home. It is children friendly with two areas for busy, little ones. There's seating inside and outside and today's lovely weather meant there were a great many people outside. The other advantage of the Locals Cafe is the free and plentiful parking. If you visit one cafe this year make it Locals.

This is a great cafe with great customer service! It’s spacious so can hold a lot of people as well as a few out door tables for you and your dog to enjoy! As all places do they have forgotten about me once, however, was well compensated once they realised... asides from that good food for a reasonable price and portioned perfectly.

Honestly had the worst service I've ever had today, granted they were under staffed but no excuse to be mumbled at, I had to ask this girl to repeat her sentence to me twice. I almost walked out then and there, especially since she kind of half opended the door to me and then walked off as she was talking".Also the amount of times I've ordered a soy fluffy with nothing on top for my dairy intolerant toddler and been served milk with something on top

Staff were were friendly, but unable to cope with the the cafe only being about half full. One of our group of four was provided with their meal within minutes of sitting down (cabinet food), and the rest of us waited 50 minutes. There was a delay serving drinks as they had no clean cups. Drinks were served as appropriate clean cups were available, which meant drinks weren't all served together either. Wife's coffee was cold, even though it was served as soon as the barista finished making it.

Really good. Hidden neighbourhood gem. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Good cabinet and menu selection. Busy as but they manage this well.

Very distinctive coffee shop, there is a coffee bean tree at the entrance, there have outdoor tables and chairs, the fried chicken sandwich is very beautiful and delicious, if the fried chicken is more tender, it will be more delicious

Great vibe here and the food is delicious. The cafe is quite big with plenty of space and toys for kids. Bit of confusion with our order (we had 9 plus a toddler) but the staff were really friendly and sorted everything pronto.

Delicious food, friendly staff, clean restaurant. Will only give it 4 stars though because it was quite expensive, has gone up alot since recent years.

Nice local place, space inside and outside, great choice. Took away a cheese scone which was well presented and well packed, good job.
