Great activity and the staff were friendly with some fun banter. I hit the pontoon once, so that was a win of sorts! I half worried I wouldn't get within 50m. Definitely worth a try, even for a laugh if you're not a golfer.

This is great fun for any grade of golfer. And if you get lucky (Gary Player said the harder he worked the luckier he got) you could win up to NZ$10,000! Even if you don’t hit a single ball onto the raft there’s something satisfying about making a splash in the lake. Maybe it’s because someone else is going to have to dive up the balls!Very friendly helpful service. And once they get their roof built it’ll be an all-weather activity.

The perfect challenge for any level of golfer. I don't play golf and I had a great time!The hole is 102m away from the shore line but is a good way to have a laugh and try to win $10,000 for the golden Hole in ONE!Easy parking around this location

Lake Taupo Hole in One Challenge
This was certainly something we randomly stumbled across driving through Lake Taupo and we were very happy we stopped to see what all the fun was. My partner managed to hit the platform and was oh so close to getting one of the holes haha. It can be a little addictive in the quest of getting that hole-in-one! A lot of fun in amongst lovely scenery.

This is a must do when visiting Taupo. The owner helped my girlfriend and I learn how to use a golf club as neither of us had ever played golf. Which the quick training from the owner, I managed to hit the platform which was an accomplishment for me.

Lake Taupo Hole in One Challenge
You probably won't get a hole in one but it's a fun way to send a few golf balls into the abyss. We would have given them more stars but they abused a kayaker paddling passed. Our guide even threw a golf ball at the person. Not a great way to treat fellow users of the lake. A pity really as otherwise it was good fun.
