I am going to have to address giving 5 stars to a lot of things now that we have been here. This evening of all things space was informative and hilarious in equal measure. The team of Amadeo, Caitlin, Ash etc were amazing amateurs sharing their knowledge for 5 bucks pp.

Great time to be had by anyone with an interest in astronomy. Great facilities and equipment. You will need to wrap up warm on clear nights. Please note there is no public toilet at the observatory.

Beautiful experience under the stars and the moon! Friendly staffs with full of knowledge seemed excited to share their passions with people. Booking is mandatory. I will come back again

Dunedin's friendly venue for night sky observing. Open Sunday nights April to September if the sky is clear. And if it's cloudy there are interesting talks by interesting people.

Truly breathtaking experience seeing the planet's. Wonderful members, that were more than willing to answer our questions. Preferably come on a clear night, but a lovely time if not.

Every town should have an observatory accessible by the public. Dunedin has such an observatory. It is within the reach of the people of Dunedin and visitors to be able to view the planets, moons, stars, asteroids and other celestial bodies of our solar system and galaxy because we have the Beverley Begg Observatory.

Great little observatory. Run by volunteers. Certainly a place to visit if interested in the stars, planets, asteroids, etc. The team are quite open and willing to share
