Just closed 2 accounts in the process of closing Business accounts to. All around Extremely poor service and unhelpful staff Etc. One star is more than BNZ deserve!

Nothing but good experiences every time I've been in, all the staff have always been pleasant to deal with and really helpful. Treat others how you expect to be treated yourself and see the difference in people.

Zoe and the team are super helpful and kind. I went in the other day urgently requesting hardship and there was 0 judgement, they just helped me and were empathetic, patient and kind. Great bank branch to go to when you need some extra help

Arrived mid day on Saturday to a post it note stuck on front door - ‘closed for one hour for lunch’. The staff in this bank are painful to deal with, when they feel like dealing with you.

The service staff at BNZ Silverdale have completely forgotten that they are employed to serve customers. Heaven help you if the automatic till machine malfunctions and you have to inconvenience" the staff for service.This is not the same for all branches as the staff at BNZ Frankton go over and above to help - they would get 10 stars if that was an option"

1 teller, 1 trainee customer service/enquiry lady on counter for a full room of customers waiting and a lady who wasn’t at all helpful filtering through those waiting with 20 personal questions about what we needed.I don’t appreciate answering personal finance questions or sharing my personal details in front of other people!Simply needed a new branch card.After 40 mins trying to sort that I gave up and asked to permanently close my accounts with BNZ.10 mins later I signed paperwork to do so.Now 2 days later my account is still open and active, the funds I asked to donate to charity when I closed the account are still there!!!

If I could give fewer stars I would. Went in to get a travel card and not only was the clerk arrogant and rude (never looked at me while speaking and acted like he knew better about the country I was wanting to load money for- he claimed that if I were to travel to European countries with their own currencies it would go to USD rather then Euro) but he also lied about the minimum I could load (travel card website states otherwise). In the end he just didn't provide me with any information and I walked out without being helped. The worst bnz experience in a decade.
