Napoli Contemporanea pizzeria bar cucina

Came here for breakfast and was just what we were looking for. As an Italian, it warms my heart to get an authentic taste of home. Probably the only place in Auckland where you can have a real Italian breakfast. Will come again for dinner!

I went for dinner with a friend and the service, atmosphere and food were exquisite! It was like dining in Italy, lovely details and decor had been added to make you feel transported to Italy. The service was extremely attentive and warm, with lots of advice, suggestions and translations of typical food. We had pizza which was absolutely to die for, the mozzarella was soft and delicious, and the dough was cooked very well. We then had dessert which was at the same level, an incredible dining experience to be repeated again as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

The most authentic Italian food we’ve had here. Everything from the service, the atmosphere to the food was phenomenal. We will be back. They were wonderful catering to my daughter. The coffee is amazing. Well done and see you again soon!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Italian napolitain restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was transported to Naples, the birthplace of pizza and a city known for its culinary delights.I had a pizza. As a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, I have had my fair share of pizzas, but this one was truly exceptional. The crust was perfect and crispy, just as it should be, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It felt as though I was enjoying an authentic Neapolitan pizza right in the heart of Naples itself. The attention to detail and dedication to preserving the traditional pizza-making techniques were evident in every bite.I move on to the dessert—the sublime pastiera napoletana. This classic Neapolitan treat was an absolute delight. The crust was light and delicate, providing the perfect balance to the rich filling. It was a truly indulgent experience that left me longing for more.

We were so pleased when we called up and realises Napoli does takeaways as we’ve been meaning to try their pizzas for awhile. We ordered one of almost every pizza and WOW. There were a few family members at the table who had been to Italy and said they were essentially the same as the pizzas they were eating in Naples. We couldn’t fault them and loved that they were made fresh and piping hot. Service was lovely too, even just for picking up a takeaway. Will certainly be back!

Most amazing pizza in the city! But not only pizza is fantastic, I had a very delicious octopus ragù with tagliatelle! You need to try! I loved it! I have to say a huge thank you to the super friendly staff that made my birthday day so special! Look forward to come back for breakfast!
