Let’s start with the positives:Surprisingly the rooms were spacious, with big bathrooms which felt like a mini penthouse. We enjoyed going downstairs to the restaurant area and we were able to sit outside, looking over the lake during sunset and having drinks which was very beautiful.Cons:When we showed up, we got really lost and not knowing where the reception was. When we did, the signage for driving in and out was very poor. There seems to be one arrow for driving in but no arrows for exiting. Otherwise to drive out, you either have to give way which seems dangerous or driving threw what appeared to be disabled parks to exit out which was really weird. We were so confused with the whole layout in the hotel. My sister got confused after talking to the receptionist that we have to go out and park the car in a different building underground. We parked and got into a lift, we got so lost, walking around trying to find our way until we walked and crossed the road which was quite hilly to get back to the reception and asked where is our room and how do we get our luggage? Our room is in the same building where the reception was but our car is parked underground in a different building crossed the road in a hilly street? Seems a bit odd! The receptionist said you can bring your car back and drop off our luggage and park the car again. Absolutely real cheek you have to pay $16 per day for this!!!This is a very poor hotel layout design. We were also really confused with the lifts also. We ran into another guest and she also claimed everything here was confusing. The signage in the lifts aren’t clear and there weren’t any signs which floor our rooms were so we sort of had to guess it.Otherwise staff seems friendly. Great spacious rooms but terrible hotel layout I’ve ever been too!

The facilities are wonderful, beautiful views of the lake and it’s great to have the water taxi arrive at the doorstep. We unfortunately had issues with the hot water during our stay with barely warm water in the morning and evenings, this was a let down after a cold day on the slopes. We spoke to the staff on a few occasions and they restarted the hot water service which worked 1 hour later but then had the issue again the next morning. They gave us a 50% discount on our Dinner at the hotel restaurant which was nice but the purpose of the expensive room we paid for was to enjoy the bath which we couldn’t because of the lack of hot water. We tried heating up the bath with the kettle but it wasn’t enough in the end and had to use the showers down in the Sauna which was an inconvenience.

I would like to express my gratitude to Pedro and Hayat at Hilton Queenstown for their exceptional service. The rooms were lovely, offering breathtaking views. The hotel staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. However, the location is not ideal if you prefer to be within close proximity to the town.

At first was really confused about the parking and did have a little trouble with room timings, but the people were so lovely to swap our room for a better room and two complementary drinks, the facility's are great and the restaurant was great. Food was amazing, drinks everything, I recommend the fillet (beef) and blueberry cheese cake :)

The best place to stay in Queenstown. Clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful shower and bath, super comfy beds and all amenities you can ask for. Award winning Wakatipu grill restaurant serving delicious dinners and crazy buffet breakfast for just $29.90 when booked during checking in.Sauna, hot spa, pool, steam room and massages to totally spoil you. Absolutely top rated facilities. All staff were top notch. Smiles and politeness and very courteous. Very professional outlet. All day carpark adjacent to the property for just $16 a day.If you like luxury then look no further.

A close friend recommended I stay here and I can confidently say I was absolutely blown away. Exceeded expectations! The location is amazing, staff warm and hospitable, rooms well appointed and facilities outstanding. Met so many other lovely hotel guests out by the fire pit - couples and families - so I feel the hotel is suited to all. Enjoyed the spa, pool and catching the water taxi into town. Parking was reasonably priced. I had an issue with my personal phone at one stage and the gentleman at reception was incredibly helpful to me as a solo female traveller. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I had a fantastic hotel stay! The customer service was exceptional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had great facilities. The location was convenient, and the food was delicious. It was definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend!

I’m not sure if the ones giving low ratings are reviewing the same resort or hotel as those of us giving top marks. All I know is, this is definitely a place I will return to and stay at.Love the location - away from all the busy tourists spots and pesky tourists. And yet, just a ferry ride away to down town. And a short walk to Franklin. The service and amenities are top notch!Enjoyed the evening swim in the heated swimming pool and loved the meals we had the restaurants. The staff were all very accommodating. Especially Ace. Thank you very much for making our experience very memorable. We hope to see you again soon.A must stay place for those who want to experience Queenstown and get away at night for some peace and quiet.

Truly a great hotel. Has a bar/pub and a restaurant. The water taxi leaves almost every hour to take you over to downtown Queenstown for $7 each way. Super easy, avoids traffic, and you get a nice boat ride. Great views for all of the lake side rooms. We were upgraded to the Lakeside Residence suites and it was a delightful experience.

Although it seemed like a relaxing hotel it was anything but… we spent 800/night for three nights in a room with a spa. All was good until we found a hose strung across our spa and our little outside decking area… it turned out it was the only one that had a working hot tap to refill all of the spas in the entire hotel. So not only did we have this the first day but also the second and third day!! Secondly we found a pair of used underwear in the bushes which only added to our view. I’ve attached a photo of these as they stayed exactly where they were for the entire visit…Additionally on the second day we requested a service on a room… not too much to ask considering the price I thought… how wrong was I! We went out for 6 hours and arrived back at 330pm to discover our room hadn’t been serviced at all. I rung and they said yes we are coming up to it… we went for a drink and spent more money at their “fabulous” hotel only to come back at 4:21pm to the room not being cleaned or serviced again… finally the crew came and explained they had already finished but would do it.. which was good of them. Interestingly enough that night someone checked into the room opposite us and that room had obviously been cleaned after we left yet our service sign was out…….Ultimately the place seemed okay but the little things really let it down for the price point they are trying to sell at.I wouldn’t recommend staying there again and would fully recommend a place closer to the township and less isolated.
