stayed over labour weeked of '22 had so much fun it was very relaxing place to stay. didn't realize there was a convention every labout weekend but the people were quite friendly. it was nice and relaxing to wake up to the nice views, river was rly cold but still nice to swim in. watch out for the windy days, we rocked all night and woke up to an empty campground when it got rly windy. left that morning.

Such a beautiful place and well maintained freedom camp site.Lots of space, tranquil river, fish jumping, little reserve and great info all round under lovely building

One of the best freedom spots we have so far found, the views are quite spectacular, tonnes of room, a picturesque river and piece and quiet...toilets are 24hrs but they are long drops with no running water

Plenty of room to park up here.Decent views of Ballance Bridge.BBQ + Tiolet facilities aren't flash but they do the trick.

Awesome place for freedom camping! Nice and clean long drops. PLENTY of space to park your camper van or pitch a tent. Morning sun is breath taking. Scenic views are amazing! Nice grilling areas. And awesome place to swim (of course). Cons: there’s a slight dip getting down to the river (someone may hurt them self, if not careful).

Nice place near the river track needs work and the grass needs mowing but nice place to stay for a few days

Great camp spot lots of green space really clean toilets and beautiful scenery also some cool history and walks and a wee drive to the windmill farm!! We had a great weekend in the van even on a winter weekend. Recommend

Love staying here. Beautiful quiet spot. Had a great bike ride through the gorge to the slip.
