Nice stay, mostly due to being able to set up a tent in a spot not usually marked for camping ... but staff were flexible when I asked about using the location. Kitchen basic with good showers. Nice tv / lounge area to relax/escape.

Rather basic cabins. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Twice or thrice a day a plane may fly over at a few meter’s distance; the airport is nearby.

Good value for a relatively low cost nightly stay for a motorhome site. Camp ground well presented, facilities average, friendly welcoming owners and staff. Thanks for your hospitality

Good place to rest very quiet. Very natural native nz bush. Great hot n cold pools just don't go diving in big pool first on a cold day lol. Ball freezer.

We recently had one night at Holdens Bay Holiday Park it was lovely! I think we had site 29 so right next to the stream, and so much space around. The facilities are getting on, but the team are doing a great job keeping them nice and clean! Jay at Reception and Matt were so friendly, and accommodating! Really close to the airport and easy access to Rotorua! Thanks guys!

Stayed for 2 nights here, great spot. Good kitchen facilities and clean showers. Free unlimited wifi. We had some lovely coffee from a van parked on site. People all very friendly. We met a really nice guy here called Peter who gave us loads of tips for the rest of our trip around NZ. Highly recommend staying here.

A really nice campground. Wish the hot pools were bigger as we didn't manage to get to use any because of long weekend and couldn't swim as the pool is not heated so little gutted about that. Decent amount of toilets and nice a clean and showers were nice. Definitely want to go back but probably in summer due to no heated pool
