Went there to get a short extension. I was asking for a gel extension but all I could get was acrylic with gel polish. I asked for a short length, but ended up with some nails looking way too short in the end. The girl never cleaned up underneath my nail and the shape was all over the place. I ended up having to fix ot myself at home. They also never touched cuticle, didn't even push it back. The nails feel super uncomfortable, and already look grown out, once I removed the cuticles myself. Definitely not worth $80.

I had my gel polish removed here on Sunday, and it was the best removal I've ever had. You would never know I had polish on. Usually, my nails look terrible after. I wish I had taken the young lady's name.

Worst nail experience I've ever had! Just went in to get old gels removed and had to explain 3 times. Cost $25 just for removal and my nails were destroyed by the end! One is now so thin it fees like paper and is raw underneath. Also got cut multiple times by the scrapping tool and my cuticles are in pieces. Had to pull my hand away several times to stop him filing my nail down to the skin underneath. Staff were very rude and just talked amongst themselves the whole time.Overall, very painful experience both physically and emotionally. Don't waste your money or risk your nail health.

I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years and Kevin at Professionail is absolutely amazing! I'm always 100% satisfied and amazed at how fast and perfect Kevin does my nails. His nail art is on point and his nails are to die for. He always has a big smile on his face for his customers and applys his best at his job. Im very loyal to Kevin but have had my nails done by other nail techs at Professionail and they are all dedicated to providing the best set of nails out there for anyone. See you soon Kevin, if I could I'd put you in my pocket and take you home.

I went to Professionail Dunedin for an acrylic infill after getting them done at Professionail Newmarket in Auckland over a month ago. I was so impressed with the quality of the nails I was given at the Auckland branch however was left very disappointed at the Dunedin branch.I requested an infill with french tip which was $75. I was told to sit at one of the booths where I had to wait over 45 minutes for service, while people all around me that had come in store after me were already getting served. I had my nails done originally by a very young guy who didn’t seem to know what he was doing? He was quite rough with my hands and didn’t clean the underside of my nails or brush the dust off my nails at all. The filing and cutting was done poorly and my nails are all different lengths.I was left quite shocked as it took THREE different people to just paint my nails. It seemed like the first guy just gave up and passed it onto another busy older guy, who then passed me onto a very busy lady who was doing pedicures. she was very rushed with my nails. I only received one coat of the base, one coat of the french tip (which was done extremely unevenly) and one coat of the top coat and then told my service was done. It felt so abrupt I was quite confused. I left with my new nails feeling very heavy and uncomfortable! I had to go home and clean them up myself. I had so much dust under my nails that they didn’t bother to clean up.It has been a week now, my cuticles are completely dry, flaky and looking infected, and every single finger of polish has already chipped and peeled off. I first noticed the chipping only 3 days after my service! I am so upset and disappointed with this service and the quality of my nails, especially what I paid for. A real nightmare compared to the Newmarket branch. Please go to another nail salon and NOT this one, your nails will thank you for it.

Definitely better off going somewhere else. They weren’t precise or consistent and couldn’t do anything better. SNS crack that very first night after about 4 hours.. It was really bad not to mention they cut my nails wayyyyy too short. It was a disappointment to go to just because the shop is big and have got a good impression but nah…it’s not worth it. This shop is only good if you want to waste money or time.

Went in for a gel manicure and paid $50. The lady was quite aggressive with her technique and cut my nail. My nails look very similar to when I went in and the paint job is bumpy and uneven. Wouldn’t recommend.

I visited this week to have my nails done (Gel Pedi and Mani) in time for matariki. Khanh was so lovely, friendly and caring! Which was a pleasant surprise as most other visits have been fairly unpleasant, rushed and rude from other nail technicians.She had excellent customer service, gentle, quick and thorough with nails. The foot massage was amazing, after a hard days work it was soo what I needed. I was the last customer before they closed but didn’t feel rushed at all, Khanh made sure she finished my nails perfectly. I walked out feeling so refreshed and happy.Khanh has restored my faith in Proffessionail, Dunedin. Thank you so much ❤️
