As per the other reviews -they come across really well on quoting and planning but on delivery they outsource to subcontractors and do not supervise them, the subcontractors moan about the head office and we went some different ones, the work took ages to start and ages to finish and I had to get them back for lots of issues before sign off. If you use them then you have to supervise very closely and go over the whole thing carefully before sign off. Price wise they are competitive but the quote has to be very thorough as anything not quoted on in detail is extra.

Good points - the quality of the work seems good and the workmen (often contractors rather than staff) were always friendly and helpfulBad points - our house's roof replacement took three months when it should have taken a couple of weeksCommunication was very poor. No proactive communication about progress and delays. The teams on site had no idea what would be happening next. Email and phone communication was frequently not responded to, and then usually after making forceful complaints.If you use this company:- get a clear timeline-get a commitment that they will provide proactive updates, especially if there if there are delays- ensure you have a clear contact person- get the email and mobile of the contact person and their manager- be prepared to badgerYou will be happy to know that the billing department of this company is very efficient. When the work was finally complete the final invoice arrived within 4 hours, with plenty of follow up!

I'm not sure where to start with this one.Extremely efficient quoting phase of the process, Very friendly and gave a competitive quote.Once the deposit was taken things were very very different.There was little to no communication, measurements were wrong. No timelines were given on when the replacement would start. No indication of delays or anything.And now....the company is in liquidation!!!!I'm currently out of pocket and still have no roof replacement. There seems to be very little chance of getting my money back. My roof still leaks and I'm 4 months down the track.BEWARE!!!

We had our house Re-roofed back in June, the communication was somewhat smooth, and job took one month to complete, however they did not communicate before put the scaffolding in place, the rubble was in our front lawn for few weeks without a bin. The job took longer than I expected but considered under the situation of COVID and every team is under staffed I didn’t think it was their fault. After the job completed I made the payment promptly as the job was completed before rain season. I was informed by Chris that we will receive the warranty paper in the following weeks. I emailed them twice in the past two month we are in September now still no warranty paper. I decided to go with this company with the confidence of google reviews, unfortunately I didn’t have a 5 star experience.

From my folks who recently contracted CRS and absolutely raves about them (with good reason!):We feel so lucky to have opted for CRS to reroof our very old house (1920s villa). Not only did CRS do a beautiful job with top of the line quality materials, but they also treated us with incredible care and consideration. They even patched up the leaks in our old roof before work could begin to keep our home watertight over winter. We were impressed with their professionalism and the pride they took in their work. Prior to and after work was completed, checks were carried out by CRS's experienced operations manager and the site was cleared up without any delay. CRS also went the extra mile to help us urgently with an unexpected leak in our garage roof (which we had chosen not to reroof) - we were in a difficult situation and they came to our aid despite their very demanding workload. We’re so grateful for their generosity of spirit and kindness - what a stellar team! CRS is truly the best, such lovely people, our roof looks fantastic (we can rest easy now knowing it’ll last for decades to come) and we only wish we could give them not just five but ten stars!

I made my first payment to CRS in July 2022 & the job is still not complete!! Total lack of communication plus no management of the project which they have contracted out to other companies even though I was told at the start they had the staff to handle all aspects of the job. They do not communicate with the sub-contractors efficiently or check their work. I'm still waiting for my house to be weathertight!

I have just built a new house and haven’t left a single review of contractors but felt need to leave this one. I paid my deposit in September to start process and roof finally on in February. This took far longer than expected which in part was due to very poor communication. I’m happy with the result, the team who turned up were all friendly and clean up was good but communication really frustrated me.

I spent ages looking into roofing options to get our concrete tile replaced with long run steel with the added complexity of getting solar installed at the same time. James and Chris made the process seamless even when we went into level 4 lockdown. They coordinated everything with the solar installers so I didn't have to. They even replaced a panel no questions asked when I had a very slight concern about it.Every time I had a question all I had to do was contact Chris and he had all the answers I needed.Their final bill came to what was quoted and there was no hidden costs.I am so happy with my pretty roof that I know will last.

Had my reroof finally completed back in June. Communication was good initially , however once deposit was paid and job handed to foreman , communication dried up. In the end, took the job 3 months from start to finish, incorrect measurements / orders , further delaying the job. I had to chase things up constantly which was stressful , as well as dealing directly with subcontractors as unfortunately no communication at all with the person who was meant to be in charge. Fortunately, we had an amazing subbie (Dylan and his crew) , extremely competent and kept me well informed which was reassuring even though it was not their job to deal with me directly. Dylan rescued the operation from becoming a complete disaster. He also came up with innovative solutions to ensure water tight dormers which were rotting and leaking bad. So far so good with lots of rain and no sign of water penetration. price wise on par with most companies out there.
