Aje Auckland Newmarket

I was in the store today and I witnessed a lady being treated very harshly by the employees over a refund where they would not honour her request. I was quite disheartened because normally the ladies in the store are nice, however the two in today were very rude. I work in retail myself and it saddens me to see shop workers treating customers badly.

A lovely girl named Emily helped me find my wedding reception dress. She went above and beyond - thank you!

I was in there today, 3 gals helped me pick out two items. One top I tried on was even a being worn by one of the girls she offered me to try for size - off her own back! Super awesome service. Made shopping, a task I am terrible at, fun! :)

After finding some items I liked online, I thought I would have a look/try on the items at the Newmarket branch on Monday (Labour Day) while I was there shopping at other stores. First of all, my partner & I were not greeted ONCE during our entire time in there! The sales assistants were happy to stare us down no matter where we walked and how much I tried to smile at them to show approachability, but still did not get any form of customer service whatsoever. We had shopping bags with us from Subtype, so it's not like we looked like browsers who didn't have money to spend? Makes me wonder whether it was due to our skin colour being darker than the other people who were shopping in there. Commercial Bay store has much better customer service and will be receiving my time & money from now on.

Usually shop online but got to visit this store in the weekend while we were in Auckland.Awful. Customer service is non existent. Don’t expect to be greeted or helped when you go into store, they just look you up and down while they lean on the counter.You can see from the numerous bad reviews that this is a common experience in this store.

Worst customer service ever! The girl at the counter was the most unprofessional and unhelpful salesperson. Very disappointing as i have been shopping at Aje for a few years now and won't be coming back.

Absolutely gorgeous designs and fabrics!! Plus the young ladies working there are lovely and very helpful!
