Quiet enjoyable experience. We ordered unagi don (full size) and a suzuyaki set with sashimi as mains and cheese takoyaki for sides. The price is very decent with that portion of unagi and the suzuyaki set comes with four big pieces of Waygu beef, an Onsen egg went well with beef and rice. There is free miso soup as well. Definitely wanna come back again.

Fantastic!Bravo!Finally there is One sole fresh fish rice bawl outlet in Auckland.I've been trying to get in to eat for couple times, today I've finally managed to make it.Simple and easy menu just select one out of five.Free all you can drink Miso soup.Although it's tiny you will not regret to try it.

Not impressed. Lunch comes with free miso soup. Lack of flavor. The unagi don was not bad, but the tendon was sad (small shrimp with lots of panko). Portion was small too. The best was the miso soup which reminded us of our time in Japan.

The deluxe seafood don was excellent, free miso on side. Small portion but good selections of sashimi. However, the prawn tempura wasnt up to standard. The deep fried oil was too old, it has a funny smell to it. Not very kids friendly.

The food is ok. Salmon had some fishy smell. But the rest were good. I think my regular sushi truck is better with their fresh salmon. Still, this restaurant worths 4 stars.

Asked for salmon sashimi but no other option than salmon sashimi donburi with no rice for $17. It came out with 6-7 small pieces of “sashimi”, very badly cut.We also ordered the $38 deluxe combo, sukiyaki and eel rice was okay. Once again, sashimi and nigiri were bad, very fishy, even for salmon. nigiri rice fall off as soon as I pick a piece up.With the name of the restaurant would expect somewhat decent sashimi but no! $27pp was absolutely rip off.The staff was nice but sorry the quality of food cant compensate that.

Can in a very cold morning, was told they offer FREE hot miso soup, that was what I need! Great and fresh sliced sashimi with sushi rice and toppings at a reasonable price. I also ordered the fish miso soup that’s only $5 and come with a good size of cooked fish

Authentic as it can get. I tried my first Sukiyaki here and it was legit. I'm always going to be thinking about it. Very well priced and been here twice already. The service is great and comes with self service miso soup counter. The fresh fish is always fresh. Definitely our go to for Japanese in dominion road. Hopefully more kid friendly items :) but don't skip on this place! Get there!!

When the nearby udon works has peole line up outside waiting for the table, this place is quite. I found out why soon after. The waitress is cold and impatient. The worst japaness service i've even had. When I pointed out the dumpling on the set meal is still raw. She replied me 'ok' with poker face then walk away. Before we left, she put one dumpling to our table without any words.Thank you , I am not begging for an extra dumpling. I'd rather not visit again or recommend to anybody.

It's aight. Tbh I haven't watched enough anime to know what to order. Got the fried shrimp and a bunch of dumplings and stuff.
