I enjoy visiting Nood as have always loved mid-century style, and they do it well. When I bought some items recently, I was disappointed to find their soft plastic packaging isn't being sent for recycling. Only cardboard is. But there are places in Christchurch that collect soft plastics & send them north to make into posts etc. I take our soft plastics to New World where there's a collection bin.

Nothing wrong with the shop and the product itself. However, the amount of soft plastic, bubble wrap and Styrofoam the chairs came with was unreal. I purchased 4 Henry dining chairs and ended up with a carload of rubbish that required a trip to the skip afterwards. I'm not going to buy any Nood product again until they reduce their waste.

The person I spoke to on both occasions was fantastic to deal with. Friendly service, knowledgeable about the products, supportive of the other staff and approachable. No pushy sales tactics just easy going conversation with someone who loved the products they were selling. I'll keep shopping at Nood.

Excellent service from Daniel - I purchased something, found myself in a horrible predicament and although it was my problem, Daniel was happy to help and go above and beyond to find a speedy solution. Could not recommend enough!

I checked their website before making a special trip across town to purchase an item. Arrived to be told they had none. I checked again on my phone and it still showed they had stock and another store in Christchurch also had stock. The sales assistant was kinda abrupt but I asked if she could ring the other store. Same story showed as available and in stock but none actually in stock. Sales girl says oh yeah well our stock levels are quite often not right as if that was some kind of justification. Overall poor service and a disappointing experience.

We went in to purchase a chair. We had one picked out and were keen to take it, but the process became much more convoluted and complicated than it needed to be. Staff weren't accommodating or very helpful. Will not bother going back there again especially when there are so many other places to get furniture with better service

Interesting selection of items ranging from small to furniture. Good to visit if you are considering redecorating. I purchased a painting years ago from Nood and designed a room around it. Still receive many positive comments as its unique and quirky which many items in the shop are. The fur cushions are a great accessory for cooler months.

Great furniture and home decor shop. Always have different kind of deals going on. Being nood VIP gives you heads up to deals and members only deal access too. Great quality for the price. Great customer services, repair and exchange for factory fault. Have purchased all our furniture in this shop. Highly recommend.
