South Hagley Park
Probably one of the best places to walk in Christchurch. To have such beauty in the middle of a major city makes Hagley unique and to see what Canterbury's forebears wanted in nature and trees is amazing.Seeing such old trees is wonderful. The only thing to be cautious of is some on bikes as there are shared pathways, and having a bike appear suddenly beside you can be a bit of a shock!TIP: Walk around the park in a counter clockwise direction... most people do - so much easier!

The South Hagley Park is a great place to go for a walk or a jog. It is so serene despite its location at the centre of the city. It also houses the Hagley Oval cricket ground, that is one of the most picturesque grounds in the world. In the evenings, one can find a lot of people cycling or jogging, or walking their dogs, on the periphery of this park. Besides being a location with tons of greenery, it also has sportsfields for hockey, polo and cricket. When in Christchurch, do spend some time at the Hagley Park.

South Hagley Park
Good for walk and running. Total one round is 3.5 km approximately. This park have Hagley oval and 2 or 3 more grounds for rugby and football. Tennis courts is also there. Recently they are constructing new track for walkers. Go in autumn season, you will get beautiful view with full of yellow-brown leaves all over the ground.

Beautiful park. Wide open spaces. Lovely for walking dogs, jogging, strolling or just sitting under a tree to read a book.

Old, well layed out paths that are wide enough to accommodate walkers as well as cyclists. The paths wind through trees of considerable age, sports fields, a lake as well as a botanical garden. Bridges cross the river and benches are plentiful, if you like them. What more could you ask for?

South Hagley Park
Popular place for running, walking, biking, yoga, cricket, softball, football and rugby. Plenty of shade if it’s a hot summer’s day and if you are lucky you may see a possum.

South Hagley Park
Not as beautiful as North Hagley Park, with less choice of waking, but still has irs charm. Also, the public car park could be a bit bigger as there is plenty of space for it. Overall it's nice anyway. Recommend
