Bottle Lake Forest Park
The park provides a range of tracks from level stroller friendly to more rugged forest paths. While the pine woodland is low lying and next to the beach, there is enough ups and downs to keep the mountain bikers happy.It can be accessed at several car parks and the number 7 bus runs within a few hundred metres.

Bottle Lake Forest Park
This by far one of the best places for a walk, run or mountain bike in Christchurch!! There are a range of separate tracks for: walking and running, biking and horse riding. Dogs welcome too! It’s really nice to walk amongst the pine trees seeing the sunshine through the forest and also to walk under the sun in the less-covered areas. There is also a mountain bike course which is opposite the car park, great fun for kids.

Bottle Lake Forest Park
Went for a walk through with my daughter. Good walking trails to follow so there is no chance of going off track. The fairy doors were a great addition and on the other side of the park is a small hill with a view of the ocean. Was beautiful.

Bottle Lake Forest Park
Had a great walk on a cool day.The walking trail was easy going and I saw people of all ages on the track. It's great that it has separate bike and walking tracks.The park is dog friendly too.

Excellent trails that are well maintained. Separate walking and biking tracks with marked direction to limit thr potential for head-ons... Great place for a ride or a walk any tine of year.

Very much enjoyed this trail! good for mountain biking or just a few hours of walk. Such a lovely place it feels like you’re being hug by those big pine trees. I would walk again on this trail whenever we go down south.

Great access and parking. The riding trails were in mint condition and would suit all abilities. Sheltered from the wind and rain thanks to the forest itself and was lovely looking at the beach on our rest stop. Easy access to the beech if you want a beach ride or swim mid ride!!

Bottle Lake Forest Park
My husband, our children and I went out there last weekend with our bikes, what a wonderful place, it's so awesome to weave your way around the bike tracks... you can be in the forest one minutes and then on a road tack the next. I totally rate this place, we took a picnic lunch too.
