Cool place for kids to play, water park area, swings, climbing area, flying fox. Picnic areas too. Unfortunately not sure if there were enough toilets.

Great space for a family picnic and great time running around the playground for the children. One down side there's nowhere to buy drinks or snacks so you must bring your own. Food trucks are not always there.

Beautiful park, definitely a family destination or wonderful walking area, bbq area or picnic spot, miniature train for the kids and duck pond and mini put, amazing play ground and more. Just can be a bit hard to get to the toilet... and usually only one or 2 is open.... plenty of parking though!

Definitely an awesome park. Take a long a picnic and make a day of it, or could take some b.b.q food and make use of the barbeques available. Loved that they have water fountains and clean toilets. The playground suits quite a variety of ages. There's also the duck pond learners bike track skate park, train rides and mini putt on nice weekends, large grass areas to picnic or play with a ball etc

A beautiful space for family!One big park with lots of choices of activities for family, communities and those interested in spending some time in big, spacious park. Here we can jog, take kids' train, bike, enjoy the playground, play mini golf, rent a boat and row on the lake, gather and have BBQ, and more.It's strategically located in Lower Hutt and has big parking spaces.It is also disability friendly and has complete facilities, including meeting hall and public toilet.

Great place to have a walk and bring your kids to the playground. A few diff section/varieties of playgrounds avail.Downside is No. 3, 4 & 5 is closed(Train ride & mini golf, pond on construction)Plenty of random seats for you to take a break and admire the view!

This is the most brilliant facility anyone could wish for a local park.Huge play areas for every age.A wonderful little train that runs weekends and holidays and the road safety training area for learning to ride bikes /scooters etcIf only all countries took note of such free facilities. Perfect for a day out if you take a picnic. Plenty of space to run about or just relax.
