Surprisngly nice gardens tucked away in the suburbs. There is a chinese themed gardens which was sponsered by a chinese government. Playground is new and very well made large and tall looks like alot of fun. A small greenhouse which is serene and full of slightly more exotic plants.

This park is such an asset to our community. Beautiful mature trees. Great cricket grounds. Plenty of handy parking spaces. Heaps of young families picnicing in lovely shady area's. Seating is well appointed and clean toilets available, suitable for wheelchair access. The very modern playground is really awesome for all age groups & includes a water park safe for toddlers but also fun for older children. Park includes a Japanese garden and greenhouse. I was really impressed.

Well developed playground here for above 2yo, including water play, slide, monkey bar, etc. Lovely place to stop in Hastings

Nice Park! Vaguely reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth in Masterton. Just less water and birds like ducks and gulls. Further exploration required. However, I can already see that it is a great venue for walkers and joggers, and has great potential for picnics and spending time with friends and family.

Great park! It has the best toddlers playground we've found since moving to the bay. The kids loved it, even the 15 month old, as there's heaps to look at and do. Playground not as good for older kids, but they still have their area and seem to thoroughly enjoy it.Playground also has a splash pad, so will be great on those hot summer days.There is also lots of seating, and plenty of grass area for picnics. The younger kids will also love seeing the ducks in the pond.All round it's a great park, and a must do if you have kids and are in the Hastings area.

I've been bringing my kids here for years & the upgrades have been amazing, colorful kids love it, with a nice atmosphere. The Chinese garden , green house & newly done up bird Avery is very nice. Plenty of field space to play ball-rush ☺️. Fantastic park.

Good Place to spend time with family. Fish creeks, bird cages and turtles to look at. Duck pond to feed the ducks with bread. Amazing plants to view in the glass house. And lots of space to grave a picnic. Great for photos.
