Home - New Plymouth Golf Club Inc. | Welcome To Ngamotu. One of New Zealand's golfing jewels. Established in 1912 on the outskirts of Taranaki's main centre of New Plymouth, it is a classic par-72 layout and a superb golf challenge. It has been the venue of four New Zealand Open championships and numerous national and provincial amateur events.

Very lovely and well priced course. Worrh taking a cart for $40. Food is good. Lovely views on the second half which is top 20 in NZ easily.

Usually turn into the golf course to do a u turn to head home. But they closed the gates after months of not doing it so had to reverse down Pohutukawa Place for 3kmz to get home as turning around seemed to hard.

A wonderful golf experience. 18 holes with awesome par 3s and some challenging holes. Onky downside was many leaves on some greens but I got over it. Pro shop manager was friendly and no fuss guy. Will play again when I am in the region.
