I went in yesterday for some protective gear as I’m starting to roller skate all over again. Brad’s name is on the receipt so I’m assuming he’s the one who helped me. Very informative and helpful! If he didn’t give me some great tips and help, I probably would have bought the wrong size helmet! We ended up finding other gear that fit very well. Thanks for all the help and time spent! Cheers!

Bought a Evolve Carbon GTR All Terrain from Dave(The owner). He delivered it to me and also gave me free lessons. After riding for couple of weeks, when I told him that its hard to do turn, he suggested to try Bamboo GTR. He opened a brand new one and gave it to me for a ride. After riding, I felt the difference straight away, lot easier for sharp turns and better control with that extra flexibility. Swapped my board for Bamboo GTR and loving it ever since, also received my $100 refund. Thanks Dave for your exceptional service and help. Totally recommend cheapskates.Looking forward for a ride with you soon!

Went to the Cheapskates website to buy some beginner decks for my daughters through the On Board menu. Really good prices to get a kid decked out in everything they need and I even got a personal phone call from the manager when my promotional code didn't work. First class.

Brought a $90 pair of roller skates online and was then emailed 4 days later saying they were just now processing my order and oops those skates were out of stock despite being in stock online and having taken my money. I now have to wait 10 days for a refund. Horrid and out of date website experience. Will not shop here online again.

The man hooked me up with a mean pair of new kicks, after leaving mine at home up in Dargaville. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The girls just up the road at Merchant were spot on with their recommendation. Guy guy, he threw in a pack of socks I liked. Great store, get in there.

What an awesome team. I had my nephew staying and he and my son were at the skate park at chaffers and while playing on the climbing wall a group of kids grabbed his board and smashed it. I took the kids straight to cheapskates where we got great advice on a board he would correctly fit that wasn’t hugely priced. (All the boards were very reasonable) we were also given a deck a customer no longer wanted to swap our old trucks on to. The staff are genuinely wicked sympathetic people and I will be buying all of our kids skate gear from cheapskates even though we already did previously. Parents take your kids here. They are brilliant. Thank you team I have some very happy kidsRegards lizette.
