Wonderful amazing person who makes you feel very at ease. Especially if it's your first time getting tattooed. The studio is very clean and tidy and very welcoming. A bonus is the amazing view.

Buzzy is amazing!! She did a great job repairing my old tattoo. It was a bit hard to get there by public transportation but it worth it!!

Buzzy is amazingly talented. This is my first ever tattoo and it's something that has meaning for me. Buzzy helped take my concept for the design and make it a reality. She's done such an awesome job. I've just had my second tattoo done - I'll share that too once it's healed - it's superb. I highly recommend Buzzy and Starlight Tattoo if you want a master tattoo'ist and a master artist to help you create something beautiful and meaningful for you.The studio is lovely and fresh with wonderful lighting. It's obvious that this is a top of the line establishment and you can be confident in your experience and outcome.

Buzzy did my first tattoo somewhat 12 years ago and has been the best tattoo artist I've ever been too, at that time her mom Monique was also running the studio at Lincoln Rd. Her work is very detailed and she does really good cover ups. 12years from then I went back for a cover up job which was brilliant. Her work doesn't leave scarring which is not easy. Knowing that she's been operating for 12 years + since I've first met her, she is one of the best in Auckland. Muriwai is a bit of a drive, she is located at a very peaceful landscape which helps going through hours of needling a much relaxing experiencing facing the sea views. It is a private studio in a comfortable setting. Thanks Buzzy !

Set atop Muriwai cliff face with amazing panoramic views of the beach. Spiritually aware and with knowledge of the Arcane Arts, this tattooist is not only compassionate but incredibly gentle. Providing good music, sound advice and devilish humour as she works like a stinging butterfly on your chosen piece. Either select something you have always wanted or let her ingenium come up with an awesome design by presenting her an idea of what you want. Great prices and even greater tattoo skill. Buzzy is friendly, considerate and expert at what she does - coming from a family of tattooists she is the best and highly recommended! I have just been back for my second tattoo!

Buzzy is a very talented lady! She has done 2 cover ups for me and totally transformed my old dated tattoos into vibrant works of art as though they were originals. Can highly recommend Starlight Tattoo!

My second beautiful piece of body art that's been create by Buzzy is an amazing Kingfisher. Buzzy was amazing during the design process and put up with me sending through a variety of photo's like a head close up to get the texture on the kingfishers head and it's eyes, a kingfisher in flight to get the wing movement, and photo's of the angle that I wanted it to be flying toward me at. The outcome is amazing. I totally recommend Buzzy and Starlight Tattoo Studio. See my earlier review for the gorgeous magpie robyn she worked her magic on for my very first tattoo.

About 13 years ago I got my first tattoo designed and executed by Buzzy when she was at Moniques Euro Tattoos. Buzzys work is exquisite, she did an excellent job. I was so enthralled with her work I searched her up to repair my aged and faded tattoos and to also get two more tattoos done with my youngest daughter, a mother/daughter tattoo and an elephant each to mark our visit to Thailand together.This meant that over the last 7 to 8 weeks, my daughter and I have spent a considerable amount of time with Buzzy, approximately 2 days a week, 4 hours a day, and in the case of our elephants 1 full day as they were done on the same day.We got to know Buzzy, Amon and little Adam quite well during that time and were quite shocked to see the vitriol of the recent post.We have never seen Adam running around the tattoo area... and if I had I would have said something directly to her as a former quality, health and safety coordinator in a high leveled job. In fact, I remarked several times on what a smart, happy, content, well behaved little boy he was. He would sit on his fathers lap in the reception area singing his abc's, counting and playing with his electronic toys. Never once did I hear him whinge, whine or cry.Eating, sleep time and toileting was confined to a designated room well away from the reception/tattoo areas. His father would take him out for a couple of hours or more to the park or an indoor playground if it was wet.Buzzy is meticulous in her attention to detail when it cones to the health and safety of her clients...and given my background, I looked closely at her equipment and practices.As to the quality of workmanship, check out Buzzy's facebook page and judge for yourself....
