Julie at Carpet Time is amazing. I manage a number of rental properties and I can usually sort out new carpet in five minutes. Julie organizes the carpet layer and always gives me a very good price. I won't go anywhere else

Went in to get a carpet quote for our new house and walked around looking at the different options for a good 15mins. No one asked if they could help even though there we two people behind counter. I had a toodler with me so was already stressful and they make no effort to help...very different from other carpet retailers where they ask as soon as you walk in.

Very friendly at sale time but awful when you call them for a problem. We had problems at laying time and we received no empathy and very little assistance when we called. We sent an email for them to look at the work done and followed up 3x. There was no reply to our email.

We have had a very bad experience in installing our vinyl with these people. We wish we had read all the previous feedback because of the terrible experience. Not only were they expensive, they also have bad communication and time management. Our kitchen by the builders was quoted to take two weeks and they completed the work in ten days. The entire job was held up for nearly 2 months because of the vinyl. Some of the issues we had were incorrect vinyl length ordered without our approval on top of the already over 2m being advised to add to the order unnecessarily. Not only were we charged for their mistake but also charged for vinyl that cannot be used which they refuse to refund. They advised us that it was a small job that shouldn't take too long and would be inexpensive and to come after removal of the kitchen but they actually did the quote after installing the kitchen furniture. To install 2m x 2.5m vinyl costed us $1673.10. In hindsight we should have gotten more quotes. This has been a waste of time, money and energy!!!!

3 months ago, we bought carpet for our rental. Installers never turned up on time, damaged our property, stolen stolen stuff from our garage. They hired rouge installers, don't take responsibilities for their installers and asked us to deal directly with their installers. Very unprofessional. Would NEVER recommend to anyone or use them again.

Customers beware.......... . I made a deposit on a roll of carpet with remainder to be paid on collection. When I turned up to pay and collect I was informed that my carpet had been collected by the customer who originally purchased in 2015...... seriously! After three weeks of phone and email conversation and no resolution I decided to visit. Ironically when I visited the show room my carpet was there?????? I was informed by the current manager that I could only have 10meters at the price I had already been promised and could pay $80 per meter more for the remainder of the roll! That’s nearly double what was agreed upon at the time of my original purchase. Now they have my carpet, won’t let me buy it and won’t compensate me enough to buy elsewhere. Feeling very frustrated by this whole situation. After many positive years of doing business with this company I am left feeling disappointed, duped and frustrated......I would avoid doing business with the current management
