I sent my cv to apply for a Timber yard job at DKW I didn't get any responses from the team about that job how hard is it to put me to a simple timber yard job I didn't realize you have to be really qualified to strip bark off trees really experienced consultants they have there it's not the first time I've went in to a temp agency and filled in a bunch of paper work and got no where out of it

DKW Recruitment are time wasters do no use this agency!!I have signed up with them twice and have wasted my time both times and had to fill out paper work all again.I had a phone call friday that a job they had for me a guy called reagan told me to come in so i did. Then a women called steph interviewd me instead the job didnt even excist i was in there for 1 hour going through my cv which is fair enough the womens listen skills was terrible which i had to repeat myself so many times. Ive used a few agencys in christchurch that have been fine but this recruitment agency are terrible.

I went to look for a job so of course I needed some info. The woman at the recepetion (with glasses) was rude and impolite. I have been to many recruitment agency and never found such a rudeness. Maybe she had a bad day...

I worked for these guys for 5 weeks, communication was very bad. Thrust had bad experience with these guys and the people they made me work with. They also got my hours wrong too under paying me. Overall if you are going to recruitment agency I wouldn’t recommend this one as one staff Or something are much better. They were alright but compared to others they are on the bottom of the list .

Xenophobic personnel. I was ridiculed and denied service - he did not make a copy of my CV, passport or documents. He made a jab at me having residency. Despite my extensive experience in service industries, he suggested me a cleaner job, even though that was not among the jobs offered (back of kitchen, storage packer, chef). I was told the process is informal and he will send me a message about any cleaning offers. I never heard back from him.

I’m not one for leaving reviews on anything really but this annoyed me.Applied for an electrical trade job. Got a call today from the agency asking me all the information that was already on my CV and cover letter, seems very impersonal and unprofessional. Proceeded to ask further questions irrelevant to the role, I am not someone to have my time wasted so hung up the phone. How does a company recruiting for skilled roles not understand that they are missing out on, I’m sure plenty of quality people, because quality people won’t put up with their nonsense.

I applied on Sunday, job they advertised at trademe on Saturday, and contact them on Monday... they said that position is filled out????? But she said they have other jobs and she check my CV but did not understand or not read and keep ask same question again and again!!!!I feel like they trying to fishing people!!!!!

DKW were absolutely awesome and did a great job keeping me in work and earning when I needed them. Beth in particular really worked tirelessly to both to keep rolling in some casual work and trying to find me a permanent role.Would absolutely recommend as not merely treated as a number but more like person.
