I agree with Ka bloody worst ever I'll make sure to stay away from them if we ever have a flood again took to long to finish my house, thanks to one of gartshore workers my home got completed it took 1year and 9 month's, what a joke

Good infrastructure

I had three houses done and over all great work. Rob cares about the name of his business and will make sure that if something does not go to plan he will get it sorted. Thanks Rob.

Gartshore Construction should be avoided like the plague if you are considering a competent company to do your job.There have been some pretty awful companies operating in Christchurch around the quake repair and Gartshore are currently rectifying all the faults around the foundations it failed to do to standard the first time.This comment is not about the workers but the dysfunctional management. Ben the project manager could not organise a proverbial and his communication has been poor. Workers being sent on days he failed to inform the house owner and setting off alarms, or not turning up on days when expected.The job is being completed spasmodically and extended into a third week.Once again there has been the dust, carpet pulled up again, another hole cut in the floor boards etc, which all may have been bearable had there been some contact from Garthshore to keep me in the loop.The list goes on but suffice to say I would not recommend this company to anyone wanting a job done in Christchurch.I have emailed the Gartshore info/contact line for a point of discussion but true to form a stony silence prevails.Brian 021769457
