Nice quiet location, small site with basic facilities. BYO toilet paper as it appears this bathroom is not restocked often. 2km walk to the beach - recommend gumboots if it’s been wet recently, also lots of blackberry! Enjoyable walk to a beach covered in driftwood. Does seem to get busy around public holidays.

Beautiful surroundings. 20 min walk to a stunning beach. Very basic ablutions. No showers. Can be very busy in high season so get there earlier.

Nice place, bit 12 inside from tar road, so you have to drive 12 on gravel road to reach this camp site. Two toilet available. This is a freedom camp site so you don't need to pay for the stay. Enough space available for more than 20 camp so space is not a problem.

Very WINDY which we didn't find enjoyable and a long drive down a gravel road before you reach the site. Would be perfect spot for those with older kids, we didn't find it relaxing as we had a toddler that kept running towards the water that was down a path that's out of view of where anyone would camp. Long drop toilets but they were well kept, didn't smell and weren't swarmed with bugs. Water tap but not suitable for drinking. Walk to the beach was well worth it, no one else on the beach so had it all to ourselves.

Not bad. Very pretty. Fifteen minute walk to a lovely beach AND it’s puppy friendly. So bonus points for that.I woke up around 3am and heard fish swimming in the lake. It was a really nice moment.Unfortunately there’s a connecting “private” camp ground right next door, the night we were there it was packed with “entitled folk” running a loud petrol generator late into the evening - they obviously missed the memo on camping code of conduct.

Nice place to relax. Enjoyed the walk to the beach. We had a dog with us but there was a sign at the start of the walk saying no dogs allowed. Our puppy had to stay in the campground.

A wonderful secluded quiet spot. Lovely flat tent site down on the river’s edge. Drinking water (boil if you want), two long drop toilets. Bring toilet paper as supply is not guaranteed. A short walk to a long remote beach.
