We did not manage to do a tour but walked around the information centre which had plenty of information! The gift shop was awesome and we sat and warmed up with a hot chocolate. There is a short accessible walk down to the cliff side where you can watch the albatross catch the breeze

Had a great visit....the weather wasn't the best but did manage to see the 4 different types of Albatross they have. Really enjoyed my visit.

Amazing facility, to see these amazing birds. Their life cycle is awesome, and almost unbelievable. Definitely not to be missed. The shop etc is free to enter, but tours must be booked, sometimes you can get on to the next one but don’t rely on it, numbers per tour are limited.

The little penguin tour was great.The guides gave a brilliant introductory talk and then we were led down to the beach.We saw loads of little penguins, maybe around 50 or so in total.They were easy to see from the viewing platform.Doing the dusk tour to see the penguins was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Dunedin.

The experience was great!Was there on a rainy/windy day in March and the birds seem to love this weather. I really enjoyed seeing them fly.I can definietly recommend a visit.

Really nice place to visit, very friendly and helpful staff. Depending on the time of year changes how active the birds are. We actually saw albatross flying around from the public viewing area rather than up at the viewing platform, so if you want to save on the tour maybe hang around down there. Bunker was pretty cool to see the only functional disappearing gun in the country.
