Paws & Claws Retreat

Paws and Claws looked after six of my pets (four cats and two dogs)from Friday to Sunday. The buildings are due for an upgrade but are still comfortable. My pets were well cared for and given heaps of love. Well done Hayden :)

We left our very nervous wee girl with Hadyn (sp?), hoping her experience would be much, much better than the last one she had elsewhere. She has returned home more at ease and relaxed than from either of the two other local kennels at which she has stayed, has just got back into being at home as if we had been no further away than town to get groceries. We will return her their with complete confidence and peace of mind. The buildings are being refurbished and things look a bit rough on the surface, but that was not what we were concerned about; it was the care that our fur-child received that mattered and her at home behaviour says it all. A big thank you, Paws and Claws and Hadyn.

Great place to drop off our dog on the way to Auckland. Super friendly, obliging new owner whipping the place back into shape.

So happy with the care our cat received here! We had to board her for nearly 3 months, less than ideal but needed to be done. Hayden was accommodating on every level, he was great at communicating with me about how she was doing. When we were finally able to bring her home, she was content, well fed, and it really showed that she had been well loved the whole time she was there. The experience we had was better than I could have ever hoped!

We drive past this place weekly. Today, with wet and windy horrific weather, those poor dogs sitting outside in this driving rain, freezing weather, with a labrador sitting knee deep in mud. 2 other dogs, a black one and a tan one also drenched in rain, looking absolutely miserable. Every time we go past, there are dogs just left out in all weather.I would NEVER put any animal in a place that has zero thought for how the dogs are I am disgusted at seeing these poor animals looking so cold, wet and miserable. I will be taking photos and sending to SPCA because this is animal abuse.
