We needed the lock on the front door changed after a flatmate moved out. I mentioned that the door wasn’t closing well, but did not ask for it to be fixed. We were pretty shocked to see that the wall has been cut into and damaged to adjust the lock, without our consent. I would have thought the staff member would tell me what was involved and how much it would cost if he was intending to fix it.It has been nearly four months and Armstrong Avondale have not responded to any of my emails with any solutions or to explain the charges, as I have requested. The lock was changed, but I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, and the damage done to the door.UPDATE: Armstrong called to arrange for this to be fixed, and after many attempts to call back and arrange a time, it was fixed. Armstrong was very apologetic and said that the staff member should have communicated before doing other work.

Be warned / be careful / can be very costlyThe product they carry tends to me more than double the actual retail price in Bunnings and Mitre10.Mitre10, sells 4 window stays for 48.50Armstrong charges customer $45 for 2 onlyThat is with discount already.“Double the price for the same product”Personally I think the price ridiculous,I like to support the local Tradies, so they can make some money with the the parts and labour.Never thought their price is as ridiculous, total rip off, as a property manager I will not use this company to any of my future customers anymore.

Absolutely diabolical! I tried to get a quote from him and the guy kept me on the call for 20mins saying he couldn't find a price in his system and had to ask other people what a quote for me could be. Put me on hold multiple times, then quoted me for over $1000 dollars for a key when I had previous quotes for other places for under $380 (and they quoted on the spot too). When I said that I've been quoted for far less, he didn't let me finish and cut me off and said 'ok, bye!' and hung up on me. Absolutely rude. In addition, he's trying to scam for more money. Do yourselves a massive favour and don't deal with this disrespectful thief

Had a mishap with information with what would be needed to get a spare key for my car, meaning I couldn't initially get it done. But they were super lovely about it and gave me a discount when I came back. In the end very happy with their service and advice.

Not the best experience unfortunately. Needed a key cut. Waited a very long time, only to be told that the attendant wrecked his last blade trying to cut my key. The guy assisting me left what he was doing for me several times to help new walk-ins. Service prior to this had been mediocre at best, so I won't be returning.

They really helped me to find the perfect way to keep my centre secure. They also made sure that it was within my budget. They didn't push or force me to pay what I could not afford and they were very honest about the number of cameras/sensors needed.Super friendly and super professional!

I had pulled a lock apart and brought it in to see if a broken key could be removed from it. They did it on the spot with 5 mins until closing in like a minute and refused to take any cash for it. Fantastic service! Thanks for helping out. This is why I keep going to these guys time and time again.
