Brilliant service helped me get a Parcel Post bag away for a Saturday delivery on Friday at 4:30pm. Well done.

Very disappointing! Came there to weight some letters to double check my envelopes will be within the limits. As Im sending some 30 envelopes overseas its important to know if they exceed the limits by a couple grams or a millimeter. Needing to pay for the next bracket" makes a huge difference by the amount of envelopes I am sending. Staff tried to make me believe it would be a 200g limit for any envelope being sent overseas. I was confused as I read myself online on the official webpage that it would be 100g and I have been to two different post shops before discussing other questions and they also said it was 100g. He was dead certain that it is 200g. Ive had the very letter laying on the desk

I drive past 3 other post shops to get to these guys, always friendly and the service goes beyond your average store.Their Suggestions have Saved me heaps on packaging costs, and they even helped with reboxing my parcel at the counter.Support this shop if you're sending anything.

I checked google to find out the opening times of this shop and they stated that the shop was opened until 1pm on Saturday. Grr it was not opened and had a sign on the door that is completely different to the information on this site. Owner, can you update to provide the correct info!!

The owner is one of the rudest, least helpful individuals I have ever encounted in retail - avoid the place like the plague!

Regarding the person introducing himself as Ash Parris behind the counter of Merivale Post Shop, Merivale, Christchurch, Canterbury.Dear NZ Post,This person was extremely rude, condescending, incapable of listening, and providing answers on questions which he did not even allow to be asked.He spoke over the top of me, without allowing me to ask my questions, and when asked if he would give me the opportunity to ask the questions I wanted to ask regarding the prepaid postage of a parcel overseas, he stated that I could take the parcel, walk out the door and go elsewhere.Elsewhere is where I will go and get the help and advice I require, however this person does not do the NZ Post brand any favours.He is extremely rude, and if I didn't know any better, I would say racist.Go anywhere else, do not waste your time or give this business - who clearly is an incapable contractor to NZ Post, and thinks extremely highly of himself - the time of dayThese comments have also been submitted via the NZ Post Feedback page.

The team were incompetent of simple mailing instructions and didn't respect customer privacy"I recently visited the merivale post shop to return an item that was purchased online.
