Took our 11yr old granddaughter, was a great experience for all of us

Absolutely loved Natureland Wildlife Trust. I'm an adult, and my inner child squirmed with excitement. There were so many animals to see and get close to. It was more of a personal feel with how you got to get close to the animals. Some you could buy food for and feed. There's so much to do and see, and I love the fact that its compact and not too spread out. There's still plenty of space, but you aren't walking miles to get to places. Their toilet facilities are great. Their staff are attentive and caring. There's even a playground for the under 5 yr olds! I just loved the differing variety of animals to see. Definitely a family adventure and even better if you have small children. They will have an absolute ball! Highly recommend to all !!!

Great little animal park. Perfect spot for kids and families. Plenty of parking and toilets inside. You can hand feed the goats and alpacas. Beautiful NZ birds onsite and conservation area. Lemurs, meercats and different monkeys to see. Great hour to spend wandering around.

Great little zoo. I love the big aviary. Well worth a visit. Underrated by locals. This is a great place for family and regular visits. Lots of variety of animals and plenty of hands on opportunity to interact with them. Recommend buying the feed when you enter, it's helps connect with the spot better. Great on all fronts.

Lovely little place to take morning tea and your preschooler grandchildren, who loved being able to feed some of the animals. As well as animals, there is a small playground, sandpit, and trampoline.

Great way to spend an afternoon, the girls loved it. Everyone was very informative. Highly recommend a visit. My phone memory was too full so couldn't take too many pics.

Cheap entry, plenty of animals to see. Great for the kids - playground and picnic area. Spent a good couple of hours here.Friendly staff, happy to answer questions.Gimmic store at entry.Second time coming while visiting Nelson - definitely one to put on your list!

Cute small type of zoo. Interesting animals that didn't expect to find there. Can see the animals really up close so really good for kids. There's a trampoline to keep kids entertained too. Not a big zoo.
