Helensville Montessori Pre-School

Our kids love Helensville Montessori. The teachers are lovely - calm and genuinely caring, with excellent communication skills. The setting is wonderful for encouranging the children to explore and engage with their surroundings and each other.

As anxious parents of a child with allergies, we searched for some time to find the right childcare for our little ones. When we found Helensville Montessori we knew straight away that they were the perfect team to help raise our children. Both our boys instantly made strong bonds with their teachers and settled in well. The centre is a pleasure to observe with the children regularly engaged in a range of activities.I love that the abundance of resources are simple, natural and invite curiosity. The centre also has a large outside area to run around in with lots of plants and trees to explore.We couldn’t recommend Helensville Montessori more.

I have been lucky enough to have had all three of my children attend Helensville Montessori. All the teachers there are absolutely amazing and are so invested in the growth and education of the kids in their care. My now school aged children have benefited immensely from their time at Montessori and I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

The team at Helensville Montessori are absolutely wonderful. My daughter took to her teachers and the environment very easily due to the wonderful integration policies that they have in place. The school is split into an entry level class called Nido and two classes for the older children. This makes for a wonderful learning experience that caters to the varied ages and developmental stages the children are in. The villas the school is based in are in theme with the surrounding neighbourhood and create a more natural homey environment, which i believe is partly why my child was so comfortable here so quickly. I highly recommend the team and pre-school to anyone wanting a great teacher to child ratio and fantastic learning environment.

From ages 2-5 Montessori builds confidence, independence and empathy within all their children. Our son has loved being here. All of his teachers have helped to engage and increase his creativity and problem solving skills. The classrooms are well resourced, warm kind and caring. Teachers always build and maintain warm and trusting relationships with whānau and children ❤️❤️❤️

Highly recommend Helensville Montessori. Our daughter has been there for the past two years. All the teachers care and are so present and engaging with the children. Our daughter has so much inspiration to learn, her listening, ability to focus, confidence and motivation I thank so much to this fantastic place. Such an amazing way to start her education. Indie begs to go on her days off, we couldn’t be happier with choosing this Montessori.

Such a beautiful centre with the most wonderful, kind, caring teachers. All three of our kids have been through Helensville Montessori and have thrived. It's truly part of our family and will always be our Montessori family, well after our kids have grown up. Such great memories have been built here.

Montessori is the best choice for an early childcare centre by none! So far, my three out 4 children have all gone since the day they turned 2. Reason been, its a great head start before school.Its not a play centre, its a place to learn life skills through the hundreds of fun activities they offer there, from cooking, reading, math and pretend play plus much much more. Not only that, the nurturing nature each teacher has for our tamariki, they treat them with such love and respect which i value alot as a mother.

I can’t recommend Helensville Montessori enough. The centre is magical - there is so much to explore and discover. Reading nooks, colouring, painting and glue stations, shadow rooms, huge sandpits, a lovely outdoor playground and much much more. The teachers are caring, tentative, and supportive and the Montessori curriculum encourages children to be independent and confident little people. I moved my children from another centre and have noticed a big difference in them since starting. The teachers are supporting and helping us through a few challenges. One of my children was toilet trained after two weeks of attendance!

Am actually lost for words. Even among other Montessori centres, Helensville Montessori is truly special. We are utterly safe in the knowledge that our children are cared for, nurtured, and encouraged in a way that allows them opportunities to learn while having fun and freedom. Every child is treated as an individual, the spaces and activities are thoughtfully prepared and frequently changed to feed our children’s growing curiosity and developing minds. The ability to harness their concentration while being fun and enjoyable is a true pleasure to observe.
