Nice looking place. Nice guy. Terrible food. Yum cha was $1 more expensive per dish than in Wellington and tasted horrible. I wont be returning.

We have been twice now and the service is great. I think it's a husband and wife team. The same lady has served us both times and she is lovely. I recommend the prawn veges....very light and fresh. Nice little cozy spot to enjoy good food and company. We will continue to visit this little gem in Wanganui.

We got takeaways Thursday night. Ginger chicken with vegetables. Half chook. Rice.There must be better Asian food in Whanganui. The cook...not a chef...does not know what he is doing. The food was boring and very basic. Very few veges. The chook was tough dry tasteless. This restaurant is dead unless they get someone who can cook and they stop cutting corners. Dont go there.

Yuck..yum char. Maybe other food from here is ok but I would not go back. We had yum char and the food tasted old and as if it had been microwaved and thrown on a plate. The service was also very average given we were one of maybe 5 others eating. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to say something this time.

This was worst restaurant we have been to the lady who served us was very rude and grumpy she didn't smile at all she made us feel like it was a hassle to serve us. The black bean beef was so salty we could not eat it. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me to, such a horrible experience.

I would eat here a lot more if I had the money. You always get a good quality meal but it's not cheap.
