Bush to Bay Holiday Stays

HiI booked a place called Banana Batch for 2 nights to celebrate my sister’s birthday, but am REALLY DISAPPOINTED with there service (cleaning service). We drove all the way from Tauranga and seeing the condition of the Bach I could even not stay to night over their.I called the Host and told the situation and she said’We had guests in yesterday and they didn't say anything’BUT THATS NOT MY PROBLEM I paid $635 not for this service.That’s a False advertisement, you should post the actual photos of the place inside and the STUFF as well, I agree the house is near to the sea and because of the salty water the stuff gets Rusty from outside but TBH if you giving the BBQ Option to your customer you should clean it. BBQ WAS IN PATHETIC CONDITION.I would not Recommend this place for staying ( Untill it is Renovated)but the view and the Drive is cool around this Area.The host understood the situation when I sent her the pictures and she did reimbursed the Full Refund back.

Banana Bach was located in an awesome spot (Waihou Bay).The Bach had a wicked view over the bay with plenty deck space to have a good time with family and friends. We went diving just out front of the Bach, with plenty of Kina to go around. Throughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

We had a great time down at the Sandbach. We always enjoy our time down there. There is plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of places to go exploring. Perfect for adults and children to have a relaxing holiday. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Will definately be going here on a regular basis.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return next summer, if not before. Check in was very simple as was checking out which is always a bonus. Although this hidden gem is about 10 mins drive from town the views are amazing both inside and out, overlooking farmland and the ocean in the distance. Totally beautiful! Listening to the native birds and cicadas was bliss, a perfect opportunity to soak up nature at its best. All towels, linens, shampoos, soaps etc all supplied along with plenty of tea towels (these are generally in short supply in other places we've stayed). There's plenty of room in the living areas and bedrooms are a good size too. I would have preferred a king size bed in the master, however we knew before we booked that the bed was only a queen - too small for us but would probably suit most couples. There is a wooden BBQ table to enjoy outdoor dining (we didn't use the brand new BBQ). An extra piece or two of outdoor furniture wouldn't go amiss on the large deck for guests to further enjoy the outdoor area. Like I said, we'll definitely we back as we loved the location and the serenity - not for everybody of course, especially if you don't like creepy crawlies. You're in a bush setting after all and to be expected.

If I could give ten stars , I would. Wendy at Bush To Bay went well beyond what was expected to put things right with our stay after an issue with our stay which was out side of her control. We cannot wait to stay again! Recommended!

Perfect location and everything you needed for a break away. Comfy beds and the sound of the sea made for a relaxing break. Thank you for sharing your bach.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simple Pleasures, Te Kaha.The house was well equipped for our stay and close to the beach for daily swims. Beds were comfortable, with plenty of linen provided for our use. Communication with hosts was great and very helpful.A minor issue on arrival was the key wasn't in the lockbox as advised. Luckily we were able to sort that as my sister in-law was in Ōpōtiki at the time to be able to collect the key.We would absolutely recommend this property & Bush to Bay and will be back for sure.

We have rented our Bach out through Bush to Bay for the last few years. As owners we have appreciated the easy accessibility to Erin and Wendy and the care they took of our house which we love very much. They are professional and good fun. Would recommend Bush to Bay to everyone.
