The staff at Queenstown airport were great to deal with, and all the requirements were clearly explained. We were very happy to get upgraded to a much nicer vehicle than we booked.The only glitch was the online check-in form that wouldn't accept our drivers license details, but this was quickly dealt with via email, and at the counter.

Booked in advance and when we arrived, they couldn't confirm the booking. Cancelled the booking, made us book again (at higher price) and told us we'd get a refund through Expedia. We never booked through Expedia, but took another few days back and forth to verify. Eventually escalated and resolved a week after our trip had ended.2 stars for the car itself being good and the staff genuinely trying to help.

Friendly staff, easy to find and the car was very new with all modern features. We had booked a Compact SUV and were provided with X-Trail which worked out very well for our 10 day trip.

Thank you to Cherene who helped resolve the issue.I would have given zero stars if I could, we booked a car for 6 days, they upgraded us from a compact SUV to a full SUV which we thought it was good. It had damages initially when we picked it up which we have taken photos of. When we returned the car, the car was in exactly the same condition as when we picked it up. When I parked the car, there were no free spots in the enterprise spot, the only free spots were in the europcar spot, I called them to confirm it was ok to park there, the agent said yes it was no problem. It was raining heavily, I reverse parked the car and it was perfectly parked, I returned the keys to the agent, they didn’t come back that day, so I thought it was smooth with no issues as we expected. They came back the following day late afternoon saying there was damage the car, a damage a dent under the headlight, which I wasn’t even responsible for! The damage must have happened after we parked the car, when I called them asking if they could check if another car had hit this car, the agent said he would get the claims team to check. No more than 5 minutes later he called back saying the claims team didn’t find any other car entering the parking area, how is it possible to check that within 5 min! This is robbery, they charged me immediately for the initial $2500 NZD, they charged me that and there is an outstanding $2700 NZD left to pay for the damage. They charged me and then sent me the damage report, not even discussing the damages with me. All of this for a damage that I never took part in, the car was not in my care when it got damaged, it was already in enterprise’s care so I’m not liable for that. This is a total SCAM, ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, I will get police involved to get footage if needed, you are stealing money from me for something that I’m not liable for. I will not give up until justice is served, this is unfair treatment for a very caring driver who takes care of all of the cars he drives, this is totally unacceptable, I will get what other parties be it Airport Security, Police until I get fair treatment and get my money back!

The car and staff are all nice, but there are some additional fees ($50) which you don’t usually pay with other rental cars and it was not mentioned the time of the booking but when I took the car they charged such as registration fee, location fee, contract fee and couple more. Its good they clarify these during booking not the time of taking car.

All round…Brilliant. The young man @ Queensland airport counter couldn’t have been any more helpful on the 24th June.We tried our luck with a few changes & he made them all happen in a flash with no stress & no extra charge.Full tank of petrol & off we went to explore New Zealand.Can’t recommend them enough & would use Enterprise again in a heart beat.

I hate giving and have never actually given any 1-star reviews. However, I'm hoping that Enterprise can take on my review and use this as a learning to do better.I currently hold an Australian P2 (Provisional 2) license and states that one of the conditions of rental (as listed in the FAQs of the website) is that a Valid drivers licence

My actual rental experience was fairly smooth, was able to check-in to the desk and get my car and return it with no issues. Just note the desk closes at 5pm so if you land after that you may have to call ahead to make sure you can get your rental or return the following day (I had to do this). There was an issue where I felt I was being overcharged but they did issue me a refund after I e-mailed and wrote a review so I appreciate the follow-up.

The rental was nice and comfortable, and was perfect for our two day adventure outside of Queenstown. The costumer service however was quite the opposite.For being under 25 I had to pay an extra fee of $29.90, I payed this upfront at the counter on the day and me and my partner were on our way. (I swear I payed for this online too…?)What really annoys me is the fact they messed up the payment on their side and came back to me four weeks later asking me to pay them back. May I remind you, the car has already been returned, more than 3 weeks ago in perfect condition, not even a scratch.So why should I need to pay this fee if there isn’t a problem with the car? Why do I need to take time out of my limit free time to fix their mistake? Don’t think I will be renting with this penny pinching company again, nor will I recommend it.

Picking the car up was fine, however drop off at Queenstown airport was a nightmare. Nowhere to park the car as it was all full. Was already late for checkin and absolutely no support via phone or in person. Most stressful time dropping it off.
