Tidy campground, plenty of shelter, water and a toilet.Camping is not permitted anywhere else in the area and you get told to leave, this spot is lovely and quiet.Take the walking track for a short walk to the lake or into the village.

Quiet, surrounded by lovely scenery, huge area, dog friendly, short walk to blue lake. Has water but must be boiled first to use, basic long drop style loo (make sure you have spare bog roll, and a source of light if needing a night time drop off). Can get a bit windy, so park accordingly, and try not to camp under the trees, as branches may fall down without notice. The site has just enough mobile data strength to stream video (spark and 2degrees tested)
