Manage My House
I have used Manage My House in 2018, 2019 and this year, 2023 for winter rentals. Margo has always found amazing homes for us. Communication with Margo or other team members has always been easy and prompt. On a personal level, Margo has always been wonderful with us, and has always helped with whatever question or need we had. Document work and payment have been all smooth and easy. If you need rentals in Wanaka Margo is the person to go to.

As overseas landlords, we had to leave our beloved property in someone else's hands and trust that it would still feel like ours" when we returned. I regret to put forth a rather negative appraisal of my experience with the real estate agency in question. Perhaps they engage with property owners with politeness and discretion, but their approach to potential renters is nothing short of reprehensible. Prospective renters would be best advised to circumvent any engagement with this agency.Their prices are grossly inflated, unjustifiable in comparison with the market average. The management seems to be alarmingly capricious, finding fault with trivial issues and apparently relishing in opportunities to nickel and dime their clients. Their utter lack of flexibility adds an additional layer of frustration to the entire process.A telling example of their inflexibility occurred when they refused to provide me with an extra set of keys or leave them at the house, simply because I was arriving post 6 PM. This compelled me to alter my schedule, causing undue stress and inconvenience.Their customer service was appalling, especially so if you're not a local. I was charged a hefty $75 for a lock replacement that scarcely cost $15, an exploit made worse by their audacity to levy an additional hefty markup. Their correspondence was filled with so much obfuscation and double-talk, it felt like an unnecessary stress test.Despite the clear violation of legal tenets, they insisted on conducting intrusive monthly inspections. This was all the more distressing given the fact that I was merely renting a guest house for a brief period.In summation, dealing with this agency was a terrible experience, marred by their high-handedness and questionable business practices. Regrettably, their monopolistic status appears to have given them the mistaken belief that they can treat prospective renters with impunity. I strongly advise anyone looking for rental properties to steer clear of this agency, unless a profoundly unpleasant experience is what you seek.

Manage My House
It has been a pleasure to have Margo and her team. She managed taking over our property from the builders and arranged all the extras (mailboxes, clotheslines etc) to ensure our tenants would be taken care of. When the first set of tenants showed up from Auckland and decided they were going to cancel the contract they had signed, she was able to mitigate the situation with new tenants and compensation for the time taken until new tenants were found. When we came to visit the property from the North Island, she was able to arrange access on a weekend and met us there on her bike :) She was also available to take calls during the year (even outside of office hours) and was extremely well versed in all tenancy related matters. Manage My House
Claudia and Margo have been outstanding in the management of our house for the past few winters. Claudia is our main point of contact and she is professional and friendly. If there are any issues that need to be fixed they deal with them quickly and efficiently, we do not have to deal with anything. I love how they ensure the property is cleaned to a high standard so when we come in for summer there are no issues and the house is perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on using Manage my house for property management

Just want to congratulate the girls at managemyhouse for their diligent management of our property in Wanaka . We deal with them from Australia and have had many emails and phone calls over the last year but only had the opportunity to actually meet with them last month. Melissa handles our holiday rentals and does so with great efficiency and care for both the owners and the tenants.
