Have been here many times and loved it but tonight it was terrible. Food average, waited an hour for mains, prioritized takeaways over in-house diners. Wasn't waitresses fault at all. Restaurant was cold no heating.

It's a Thai chef in the kitchen and you call tell. The Thom Kha Gay was like being thrown back to Bangkok. Very busy even on a Thursday afternoon. The service was excellent even with a heavy turn around. Reasonably priced. I recommend in Picton!

Takeaway ordered. Curry was amazing (best so far outside of Thailand, better than most in Thailand), stir fried rice was good, but not special. Food was prepared quickly and packaged well.

Friendly staffs and delicious food! Had basil & chili stir fry for first visit. Went back to try their Tom yum soup.

This place was really good for such a little town. Made food quick and 95% of everything we got was delicious. Pad Thai was great, Tom yum was spot on, not Milky and bland. Was also surprised at how good the duck in a otherwise delicious stir-fry dish was, especially considering it wasn’t the main focus. usually places just put in whatever dry meat they can find that has a somewhat resemblance to duck. Only critique I would give is to work on their green curry, it’s overly milky and sweet, doesn’t have much actual curry flavour and is too heavy/creamy to finish. Although this place still gets 5 stars as everything else was delicious. Will definitely come back if I’m back in Picton anytime soon.

We went back two nights in a row. First reason is the service, yep often comes above the food but it was homely, friendly and the Chef delivered our meal to us in super quick time ahead of countless people waiting for phone orders. Nice simple surroundings and comfortable chairs if you get the right table. We had Pad Thai which was a big hit. Portion size was excellent and a price to match. Even the drinking water provided tasted like it was crystal clear and had no residue or fridge like aftertaste. Great work Thai Panda !

As a business traveller seeing the reviews helps me decide where to eat. I am really impressed with tonight's dinner. Prawn Tom Kha soup followed by medium beef basil and chilli stir-fry. Prawns, counted 6 big ones and spicy. The stir-fry had me sweating. The place was packed but there was no delay in service at all.

The food served here is more authentic, tastier and better than any other Asian/Chinese/Thai restaurants in the Marlborough region. Definitely better than those flashy and expensive restaurants in Blenheim CBD.Must visit restaurant in Marlborough if you’re interested in Asian cuisine.The service was top notch!!!
