Mackenzies Cafe Bar & Grill
I had dinner twice here, the staff was was friendly, always checking if you need anything and the food was very good too.I had their rib eye steak the first time the steak was not medium cooked but the taste of the whole dish was very good so I decided to have it one more time. The second time the steak was cooked to medium. Pairing it with an Alpha Domus wine which made it perfect and why not add a garlic bread as well.

An awesome stone grill dining experience. We ordered stone grill option and porkbelly. Both meals were delicious good portions. Prices are great too compared to some other restaurants around. Good selection of craft beers and cocktails. Staff was very friendly and service was great. Only feedback would be table not having too close as when people grill the food smoke often goes to others table which could be a nuisance for others around but otherwise fantastic experience and will be back for sure.

I understand that they were busy during the holidays but the staff were intially quite standoffish. They were more welcoming when we were seated and even better when they were starting to close.As for the food, it was a pretty long wait but boy was it worth the wait! Thank God for that, we were starving! The pork belly was so moist, melted in your mouth and all the flavours were on point. My steak was beautifully done and simply hit the spot.Thank you for an overall wonderful experience.

We ordered 4 meats grill, and waited for an hour and a half. I wonder how four pieces of raw meat took such a long time. We ordered this meal because the staff told us it won't take a long time (approx 20mins the staff said), and we were in a rush.

After looking for a nice hot soup around the village and not finding many options, we (group of three friends) came across Mackenzies Cafe Bar that was offering a tomato soup as the Soup of the Day! We all decided to have one, and it was absolutely delicious! What a treat with a nice glass of wine!

Lovely meal, I’d go out on a limb and say it was the best salmon I’ve ever had! So deliciously melt-in-the-mouth, and serving it on the ratatouille was a nice touch. My husband had stone grill beef and chicken and loved his as well. Very happy, very impressed, if we weren’t going back to Australia tomorrow we’d dine here again. Highly recommend.

Currently having dinner in the restaurant now. The steak is overcooked. Cannot chew them. We make a feedback but the manager didn't even say a sorry. Just tell us that is what the steak taste like. Bad food and poor service. Never come back again.

Absolutely fabulous meal. We went for the Challenge, which is the rump and eye fillet that you cook yourself on a stone grill. It was exquisite; so tender and full of flavour.Desserts were also amazing, though I would have preferred no nuts in the strudel but that’s on me, not them. The sticky date pudding was also delicious. Service was spot on and the staff very welcoming and friendly.
