The staff were nice, eating environment and the internal decorations are great....that's the only positive things I can think of.I have ordered the pulled pork Hawker roll and the prawn dumplings combo. Pulled pork were extremely sweet and salty, can't even taste anything else. They have used roti or similar bread as the roll, which was quite greasy and soggy. The prawn dumplings were okay, they taste better when you dipped them in a sauce and oil supplied on the table. The meals are a bit overpriced, I have spent $24 for lunch and expected to be decent meal.....but I was quite disappointed.

please take care of the quality of your food.1st september we bought2 nasi lemak and 1 laksathe rice was so hard and dry!I've added water when I heat it up and it's really hard and dry!laksa taste not like usual. tasteless.I like to buy your food beforehand. but honestly the quality of your food has decreased.

Beef Roti - the roti is really nice, not a lot of beef, more salad but still nice.Prawn dumplings - As expectedHot chips - As excreted but probably less than what we thought we'd getWonton - These were quite crispy, not a lot of meat in the middle.Pulled Pork - Pork was dry and over cooked. Salad was really dry too.Sweetcorn and coconut springroll - probably the nicer one we tasted in the meal.They ran out of cripsy chicken and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. We had this down in the Hawker and Roll spot in Queenstown and the food was a lot nicer.

The donuts came out at the end even though we asked them to come out first with mains. This is the second time its happened. A little disappointing.Gavi, Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. All the food is delicious it was just timing on the day.I've been back again and thanks so much for getting my donuts out with mains. Another brilliant meal. Your lady that cooked on the day was amazing. Watched her in action and shes efficient and can multi task. An asset to your team. It was a steady lunch time. Thanks so much.

Had never heard of this franchise but judging from the menu and smell we were enticed. So we gave it a punt and came out smiling. Little on the expensive side, considering, but the chef cooked everything fresh and to order. So happy to spend the extra $. Taste was wonderful and fresh. Will definitely dine here again, as a treat.

Nasi Lemak and rendang beef are great, especially the sambal sauce which is authentic.Laksa is not worth the price, only with little noodles and 4-5 prawns (extra $6) but too much bean sprouts.We ordered tarts because we had it last time, it was heated enough to taste the flavor and creamy texture.But two tarts are not heated properly this time, filling is cold and pastry is hard. We even got the same tarts returned after we told server.They should improve hygiene on processing food as well. Cuz I saw the cashier grabbed vege to my dishes without gloves after ringing up for other guests.

For a place with a small menu you'd expect them to have all their dishes down packed.We ordered the laksa and nasi lemak. Both are far from tasting anything like Malaysian food. White washed Malaysian food that's extremely bland.2 stars because of the friendly service.

Ordered food from hawker & roll. Normally we have a good fest and enjoy it. Unfortunately this time around we only recieved 50% of our order. Disappointing really as that's over $30 of food we didn't recieve.

The staff were great but the food is not worth the price, me and my partner both tried the bao bun burgers and it was absolutely disgusting. too sweet, no sauce or lettuce (at least) for $25 a burger save yourself the feeling of feeling ripped off and go to palace burger, this is a restaurant that tries to be too different but ultimately fails in doing that.
