So clean throughout the establishment, very friendly staff and plenty of historic references in the photos and other images adorning the walls. Friendly locals in the bar and a nice restaurant, plus the room rates are well within reason and not excessive. Recommended.

Lovely meals, very busy night. The staff were very busy getting drink orders, food orders, bringing food, etc, the good took Longer than it normally takes but considering how busy they were it wasn't a problem. Will go again. Love supporting local,.

We struck a busy time for this venue without booking. Staff were very obliging and fitted us into the bar area for or Sunday Roast. Fabulous food, great atmosphere, worth another visit for sure.

Did not stay in the hotel. Trying to post for the restaurant.Went there today. The prices have increased since booking. Not changed on the web page.Bit on the small side for a $25 roast dinner. Also the vegs were overcooked. Had the chicken open sandwich was tasty. Just a shame the fries were stone cold. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good location to explore New Plymouth, Stratford and Mt Egmont (Mt Taranaki). Also a great place to stay during Americarna, a very popular annual event.The restaurant and pub meals are tasty and affordable and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.I stayed at the lodge a few months ago. The en-suite room was spacious and there was a dining/kitchen area for guests. I am now a local and love living in Inglewood.

A group of us had the Sunday Roast special for $20. I had the pork, and it was delicious. A very generous portion, and everything cooked to perfection. The crackling was superb! Beautiful gravy, too. The only thing I missed was a spoonful of apple sauce, but I really enjoyed my meal. Compliments to the chef! The service was quick, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I recommend the Sunday Roast. Well worth the trip to Inglewood.

So not the best. $167.80, and 2 meals did not arrive and instead given as takeaway. (the point of eating out with the family is to eat with the family). And this was the meal I ended up with. Hmmm, hard to support local isn't it. Sadly won't be back just too many problems. Would suggest thinking twice.
