Being around Easter I was surprised that I managed to get a booking at Breakers for my party of 10. When we got there we were served straight away and nothing was a problem all the staff on Monday were absolutely awesome. Thank you so very much for an awesome night away from cooking we had such a great time we lost track of time as you were closing up. Thank you so much for an awesome night we will definitely be back really soon.

Fries cold and roast was dry. Burger was good but when you wait half an hour for your meal you expect it to be hotPudding however was quite solid.Breakers wanganui is a lot better despite being much smallerA bit of work to be done but not all bad. Just needs better quality control

We were a table of ten people. I had the chicken schnitzel and loved it. It was huge meal. Good service too. Go there for the schnitzel!!

3 of us dined in for lunch. We waited 70minutes for our meal.When it arrived all 3 meals were cold. I complained and the chips were replaced as they were stone cold. Burgers were beyound warm.We only had 5min to eat as we were late for an appointment due to the wait.We should of been told about the wait before ordering.Very very dissapointed

Came here for Nana’s 80th and it’s a big family friendly place perfect for these kind of gatherings! Huge servings. Good value. Easy casual atmosphere. No drama and ideal if you’re out with the family and extended family and mates. Loved the crispy mushrooms. Everything decent though and actually quite a cool kinda kiwi summer vibe to the decor. Thanks for having us Breakers. Very enjoyable.

booked for table of 12 so they aware we are coming and not just walk ins. no1 came to ask us if we being served or take our orders. Took nearly 2hrs to get our food with various very long waiting gaps in between food. couple of us ordered same meals so there were quite a few repetition of meals. majority of staff looked reasonable happy, one looked real grumpy as heck.after everyones eaten, desert for kids were completely forgotten about.service took a real dive sadly. we came here to celebrate my daughters 9th birthday, was meant to be a family night of celebration but it was anything but.

Upon entering Breakers on a Sunday evening with no reservation, as we were not planning on being in Palmerston North, we were met with the friendliest waitress with the hugest smile. She had no hesitation in explaining the procedure around eating at Breakers, the specials board, and we could sit wherever we wanted. Ordering was a breeze, press the button at the table and hey presto a waitress appears. The below photos are the fish and chips, you even got to choose battered or crumbed fish and the mussels in a garlic sauce. As dinner was served the sun was setting in the hills and causing a glare, there was no hesitation in asking if I wanted the blind lowered. Top service, but only a four star due to the amount of grit left in my mussels. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back

If I could give more stars I definitely would. Just came in with my family, had a tiny issue with one of our meals and the staff went over and above to sort it out super quickly. Honestly the best breakers experience we've had out of all the restaurants we've been to over the years. Lovely impromptu birthday meal. Thank you for making our day

Mussels were delicious. Super friendly service. Salt n pepper squid was great too. Fantastic family environment, relaxed dining, good cocktails! Large portions. paid $102 for 2 of us included starters, mains and desserts + 4 alcoholic beverages. Dont sleep on the HOMEMADE CHEESECAKE!!!! bring coins for the claw machines.
