Great decor but it ends there.Food was terrible! The portions were tiny. The pork was dried out, very difficult to see where the jackfruit was the chicken quesadilla was just downright horrible. The floors and tables were incredibly sticky. I can only imagine how long it’s been since they were wiped down. There was probably more flavours in the floor and table than there was in my meal! Also, the meals were cold and soggy.I complained to the waiter and they said they wouldn’t charge for one of the dishes, but it was still expensive for such a horrible meal. If you want good Mexican food, go to the Mexico in Ellerslie. It is far better.I will not be going back.If I could give it no stars, I would.

Pretty decent place to meet up with a few mates, have some drinks, and share a few plates. Chicken platter had some tasty options, and was only slightly too dry but it was okay still with the dry rubs or sauces. Chicken burger looked massive. Quesadillas were only okay, the beef cheek one being the better one. Jalapeno poppers were way better and more real than any others I've ever had. But buying individual tacos and trying all 3-4 of them was definitely the best option. Got a couple buckets of Coronas with limes and then the margaritas. Drinks naturally get expensive very quick. They did have a virgin sangria too if you're not looking to drink. We didn't opt for the different tequila tasting flights this night, but perhaps a future day. As for the place itself, wish the seats were a tad more comfortable. As for the ambience, walls were absolutely covered with art and framed images which did lend a good themed feel to the place.

Came here for a birthday party. Atmosphere and service was great. Food was sincerely disappointing. Panucho awful the pork belly bits were severely overcooked and it was dry. Chicken tinga chalupas were ok at first but left too long and it tastes like mashed up food, slow braised brisket suadero was nice though and the Mexican fried chicken was not too spicy but was over cooked and dry saving grace was the dipping sauces which are not spicy at all. Churros were under cooked so they replaced them and the second ones were exactly the same undercooked and raw dough in the middle. The virgin Tahitian Limeade Margarita was good bit on the sweet side but very refreshing. The strawberry Guava Margaritas were nice. Buy the carafe its cheaper than buying 2 and you will drink those fast. Water was warm something that will be up to the individual. Was very busy so do book for Saturdays.

The place was nicely decorated and was inviting. The girls who served us were also really lovely and friendly. The jug drinks could easy drink 2.5 people. Food was pretty ok, would be nice with a little bit more filling.

Amazing food and drink plus the staff were friendly. Recommend the Torta Ahogada and Braised Pork Belly Tacos with White Cola and Tropical Guava to wash it all down.
