Toasted sandwich and they wouldn't include egg in the sandwich.Never experienced this before.Staff needs to be more customer friendly

There aren't many cafes in New Zealand with an atmosphere like this. A beautiful place to stop & refresh, if traveling this highway.At the time of visiting about 2.30pm, they were a bit light on what hot foods were available, but we weren't there for a pie. The Croissants with ham & cheese were delicious. Coffee great.

Always our first stop on our visit. Coffee is always good, staff are friendly, and the toasted sandwiches are hard to resist. Especially after a trip or two round the reserve.

We arrived right on opening, they were busy from the onset, organised staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. Coffee great and the food fresh and tasty. As a regular traveller will stopping by again soon.

Getting fresh food mid afternoon and watching the birds soaring as we ate was wonderful. Excellent quiche reheated perfectly, fresh salad, great pie and great coffee. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful. We'll be back and highly recommended.

One star for lovely warming fire, but very disappointing to find no vegan options and a rude uncaring flippant response when confirming the fact.You would think a tourist attraction would be up with todays increasing number of public looking for cruelty free options. Big shame.
