Horse riding school

By all accounts the camps are well run but the horse lease program is what this review is about. If you are a confident adult rider you will probably be fine. If however you have a teenage daughter that has done some riding then this is the wrong place for you. There is no program for proper instruction or regulation, merely a small orientation from the other leasee's (which are all very nice). The owner is not at all helpful.

trickle creek deserves a million stars, quite frankly! louise is patient, caring, kind, magical and she creates the most unforgettable experience for children and adults alike. we can't thank her enough for organising our little one's birthday party. it was fabulous on every imaginable front - from the treasure hunt, to the pony rides, the petting of bunnies and guinea pigs, the craft activity, the food... out of this world wonderful. thanks louise and thanks to your lovely team too, for a beautiful celebration but also for reminding our little ones how much fun it is to connect with nature and just play.

My daughter was given riding vouchers for her birthday. She loved her time with Jenny and the beautiful horses.

We had an awesome time doing the Ride the Waves tour. The walk along the coastline was really pretty and taking the horses into the water was a really cool experience. Lizzy and Amy were also very friendly and were great guides.

Amazing riding lessons here. Stephanie is so patient and knowledgeable. My daughter loves her lesson every week and has progressed so much in her riding technique.

Always lovely to come out here and be surrounded by horses and nature.My daughter is having lessons for mental heath support and the team here are very caring and understanding.So greatful for the opportunity

Had a fantastic experience with my whanau. We had the one hour walk, with my wife and two kids. My littlest was very scared initially but warmed up to it with the assistance of Lucy, leading the trek. Tancy helped at the other end, keeping us going. Both guides are excellent.I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to give a horse ride a go.

Loved the place. Instructor super friendly and kind. My son loved the ride.

Very unprofessional. They haven't replied to my email or a phone call for more than 2 weeks. Finally, after getting a response, they sent me a ridder form to fill in so we could plan and organize lessons. They never replied back on that email.
