Absolutely delicious sharing plates. We came away appreciating the well presented plates, lovely service from our waitress and enjoying the view. It was a very pleasant experience and we would absolutely recommend. Thankyou to the chef.

Amazing food and amazing service. Service was attentive but not in your face. Great waitress Lisa and another one but don't know her name. Couldn't fault it at all. Will definitely be back next time in Christchurch

I went with my family for a belated Mother’s Day celebration and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience of Trust the Chef. The food was sumptuous and adequate for the 4 of us. The flavours were different but outstanding. A great shoutout to the staff who were very warm & personable, enhancing our dining experience. Well done and keep up the good work!

We had dinner here tonight and would definitely recommend to others. Food was super tasty and well presented. Amazing cocktails and great wine selection. Although the restaurant and kitchen was short staffed our meals and drinks were delivered promptly. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Thank you, we can't wait to come back

Had the pleasure of dining as a group of six last night to celebrate a birthday.From the moment we stepped in the door we were so impressed, super smiley and welcoming staff, the music, the interior and the buzz in the atmosphere were awesome to witness.Absolutely recommend the Trust The Chef option, portion sizes were perfect and you get a great variety from the menu.The pan seared fish was a standout and the wine selection was epic!Can’t wait to come back, keep it up!

Couldn’t fault our waiter - he was the star of the evening. He took the time to go through the menu and took a genuine interest. However, upon arrival the restaurant was quite stuffy and had an interesting smell. The food was delicious, although small and overpriced. Appreciate that it was Valentine’s Day, but it took a good 30 min between our small starter and sharing plates so was well on the hungry side by the time the final dish arrived.

I’ve dined here in both a larger group setting and a more intimate setting and both were gorgeous evenings. The food is artfully made and delicious, and the drinks are too. The staff are really friendly also. It’s a great venue to look out to the city at sunset. Beef was beautifully cooked tonight, thank you.

Toilets for this level of dining are utterly disgusting. They resemble toilets in a nightclub in kings cross in Sydney.Food is simply average. Zero taste and they come out looking like something I serve up in my home kitchen with next to no care. Service was great but that was about it.

One of Christchurch’s best kept secrets situated on the top (Seventh) floor of the Muse Hotel. Amazing food from a passionate chef who champions the best local New Zealand produce and even grows his own herbs on the balcony. An effortlessly cool, intimate and bespoke restaurant experience. Great food, great wine, great staff, great views and great music.
