Westpac Northwest

I called Westpac 0800 business unit to set up a business account. They requested that this branch give me a call back, when they did the person asked me if I have a main account with Westpac. I told her no, and that I'm looking to open one so I am able to open my business account with them. She then told me that it's probably easier opening a business account with the bank where my main account is now, otherwise they have to do all the proofs and checks for this to happen. I directly asked her so you are basically saying no to business " which she couldn't respond to. I phoned back the 0800 business unit and told them about the situation. They apologised and assured me this is not their (Westpac) quality of work. He told me he sent an email to the branch manager to give me a call. To this day

This branch is not good with customers at all specially the Asian guy I forgot his name he was so rude to me when I was asking him for an statement yesterday. He was kind of fighting with me even he told me off too but I was quite in hurry had no time to argue with this person l.The customer services at the northwest west branch is supper bad and I was with westpak long time but decided to join the ANZ yesterday as their customers services are great and my wife will change bank soon too no more westpak

Very long waiting time with only two staffs in this branch….Need to change a way how to activate cards without heading to branch….

Well always not been this bad as today, very rude teller who just didn’t want to help. He should learn good etiquette to speak with customers. Tellers should be trained to help not to make things worse for someone who may have taken some time off work just to sort out things.If a teller explains without frowning things can be very simple but here it was just the opposite. I will surely try another branch but Westpac is hardly open in popular malls. Hopefully the manager asks all his staff at the front counter to be more helpful. I still remember this teller’s name but won’t put it here.

Went there today to get change, the Indian teller was more interested talking with the other teller about her own personal IT problems, I stood there waiting and then when she finally had to look at me, the customer she didn't have the amount, so I said I didn't have all day to wait, she gave me the money and didn't even ask if I wanted something else.If you don't want white nz ers as customers put a sign up, she needs retraining on how to do her job, maybe counter service isn't for her

Since Westpac closed my local branch, this is now my new local. I generally like Westpac; they offer good services and competitive rates.The opening hours of this Norwest branch are ridiculous and inappropriate for most working people; the branch closes and 4pm and is closed on weekends.My guess is that this branch will be closed within a year or so.

Asked about withdrawing GB£ and was given an exchange rate. Make the withdrawal then see after they also charge a fee to withdraw foreign currency on top of the profit in their exchange rate (3% worse than the currency value). Staff have no idea what they're doing or why and will not help or inform you.Very good service from TSB in the same mall. Definitely worth switching banks, cheaper and infinitely better + money stays in NZ.

I have been a long time customer of Westpac, their service is great, their range of services are great I don’t call that often but they usually answer their 0800 number pretty quick my only complaint is since they have moved their location in Westgate there is no facility to deposit money outside of banking hours. We would have to drive 18 km to deposit and I live in Auckland? Fix this please.

Disliked as the ATM machines are behind a locked gate. Branch is tardy when it comes to opening in time. Service is not that good.20/0618: had to visit the branch - aargghh - terrible service

Absolutely disgusted by your staff. I have been a long Westpac customer, now I will have to think twice. A lady was assaulted by another customer for sneezing, your staff didnt give a damn and instead laughed at crying helples lady along with the racist woman. It was only when the police arrived you guys started apologizing. You guys have shown how unprofessional, disrespecful, insensitive, disgraceful, undeserving a branch can be. Good job Northwest Wsetpac! Wonderful customer service!
